That's not 100% true. I live in Mass and have never had an issue with modifications and have never had to provide a CARB EO number. It's a plug in test no visual. I've passed before while catless with a blower on my old 06 GT.(this was maybe a year and a half ago) As long as none of the readiness monitors are turned off it would pass in Mass."Not approved for sale in California or states requiring California E.O#"
So apparently there are 11 states that have adopted California's emissions standards. So if you live in one of the following 11 states you're SOL for these power packs:
New Jersey
Connecticut
Vermont
Washington
New York
Maine
Rhode Island
Massachusetts
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Maryland
I just copied and pasted that information from a website i found that gave all the states in the country that adopted California emissions. That's not 100% true. 5 hours to install a cai and exhaust?!? What a ripoff...Called my local Roush Dealer (Tindol Roush in NC)...wanted to charge me freight shipping and 5!! hours of labor at 98/hr. Cannot fathom this powerpack taking 5 hours in a driveway let alone in a performance shop.
I have installed intakes and exhaust before, but i am an apt dweller so id prefer the exhaust to be welded and also do not own a device to flash ECU.
