Still haven't heard anything back from Hypermotive. Emailed them asking why the tracking link to my BMR vertical links wasn't working...nothing. They didn't show up yesterday, probably wont show up today either. :frusty:
Sorry to hear about your luck with the hood struts man, I have the MMD Hood struts and they fit great- no issues whatsoever.

I'm sure Hypermotive will get back to you, but in the future AM > all... their customer service and pricing can't be beat.

Clean ride! :ford:

Awesome. You going to the C &C at Wake county speedway?

Yes, the 19th.
I was there two weeks ago also, some nice rides there.

Did also open up the grill intake holes, working good temps difference 4c.

You must join the Heart of Carolina Mustang Club, they do a lot of events.
Go to facebook for some info of the club, they have also a website.

Went to Vir Raceway already a couple times with the club.

I normally go through CJ Pony Parts or American Muscle. Great customer service, good pricing and super quick delivery.

Reached out to Hypermotive again today through facebook messenger....nothing. I tried them because they are local (less than 30 miles away) and I'm a fan of supporting our local shops. Lesson learned, stick to what works. I'll never order from them again. Even if they drop ship from the actual vendors, the parts should have been here by now. And the fact that they want return my emails or messages shows poor customer service.

Damn man that really sucks but if it damaged the panel the alignment may be off on the bracket itself. I have my hood closed right now with them on and do not have that issue but the fitment is definitely really bad. They don't make the fender bracket big enough to slide over the hole evenly. Like I said I am probably changing to Redline and would recommend that as well.
I double checked today and read the instructions again. It just doesn't fit. My brackets are the same way, too small.

Update: They finally contacted me. Had to go through facebook messenger for any response. Cancelled the order for the BMR vertical links, but they still haven't refunded my money. I'll give them a few more days.

May end up going with the UPR vertical links instead. I've pm'd Steve to ask a few questions. Anybody have any feed back on these? They look identical to Steeda's but waaaay cheaper.

Have you tried to contact BMR Tech for the vert links? BMR has had good customer service and their prices are great (free shipping on ebay and I've never had a problem with shipping, quick). I'd stay away from UPR and go with Steeda or BMR. UPR links are copies of the Steeda version. For $10 less or the same price, you can get the BMR vert links with delrin or delrin/spherical. I was initially skeptical of BMR when I started testing suspension bits. However, after testing a few setups of Steeda and BMR components, BMR's fitment and quality is tops in my book. Wheel hop and vibration is down with a primarily BMR set up. Will be switching to solid bushings for the IRS and diff which will make my entire setup BMR, save the G-Trac brace. Kelly has been great in helping me as well.

Thanks for the info.

I'll update the thread with install pics and my review of the product after logging some miles and test hits.

Here are some pictures to compare them to when you get them installed. Vert links were 100% the easiest install so far. I'm tackling an MGW shifter this weekend.

Thanks for the pics.

Good luck with the MGW shifter install. I'm not that familiar with them, I run the Barton. Is it a complete unit swap like the Barton?

Me and a buddy installed mine in an afternoon.

Installed the Raxiom taillight sequencer today. Super easy, took about 5 minutes.

[ame]

Installing vertical links in the morning. Gonna throw it on the lift at Dad's shop, I think it would be a lot easier that way. I'll update tomorrow afternoon.

Yes, and feels 100 times better.
Wow Im in shock and now Im excited! I used to have the Hurst shifter on my Challenger and while it shifted amazing overtime my RPMs went up you would think the car was going to blow up or something was going to fall off rattled so loud. I can't believe the Barton is actually quieter then stock. I guess Ford really does it better lol

Installed vertical links Saturday morning.

They were shot with black chrome days before installation.

I noticed some uneven wear patterns on my right rear and the right Steeda IRS brace was a pain to get on the first time. So I figured now would be a good time to double check everything. Also wanted to check for wear as the above poster.. mtb5020 had seen. My braces had very little wear at all. It definately let me know the IRS isn't moving much at all. Before reinstalling, I loosened the entire cradle (it has Steeda alignment bushings) and re-torqued to spec. We then installed the drivers side Steeda IRS brace. It went on very easy and was in perfect alignment. The passenger side was a half hole off the cradle lockout brace. I opened up the cradle lockout holes, went through the whole process again and the Steeda IRS brace went on easily.

I will tell you the rear end is definately MUCH stiffer now. I couldn't believe how much tighter the UPR vertical links made it. You can feel every bump in the road, but it handles like a mofo. Haven't done a hard launch yet, but the hop should be gone. It was close before.
