That's a pain - hope I wasn't the one who pinched it! :) Dare I ask what you were after?
Just got an email to say that they got it for me :headbang: The one I got was VE16 HTT.

What does that plate mean?

Had a look myself and there are a couple under ÂŁ400 that would mean something to me. One is my old nickname at school followed by TNG?? or was it STG :)

So you buy it and then have to keep it until March, is that right, then pay to have it transfered to your car?

Also a good way to get a 16 plate if you still haven't had your car yet but won't want to wait until March if it arrives in January.

Price includes assigning it to a car but you can't put it on anything registered before 1st March 2016.

Re private plates - is it just me or does it defeat the purpose if only you know what it means?
The number of 'nearly means something but has an extra letter or number breaking up the word so doesn't actually quite spell what I wanted it to spell but lets pretend that it does' plates that people are buying just seems a bit daft to me.
I could say that the 'UXP' that seems to be coming on my ecoboost means UnExplodedPony - something that I have always wanted for years ever since I was young :-)
No harm to the people that are spending money doing this - it's their money to spend as they see fit but I just find it strange and would rather put the money in the petrol tank :-)

Ah i see it now, are you having the spacing as:

V E16GHT

I was totally curious if it was your name or something at first!
So we are back to what is the point of the plates if it is a struggle to work them out due to extra letter / spacing etc.:headbonk:

Someone might like this.

Sort of looks like Mustang or My 65 plate 'Stang.

ÂŁ800 though, that's 10 tankfulls. Might cover the first 2000 miles :D

LOL - Now I have to work out if that was someone trying to prove the point of my previous post or not :-)
Or are you going for some good old Scottish Sarcasm Mr Nizmo:lol:
Nah, seen it right away :D

I've got one on my Nismo, means toss all to anyone bar me and the Mrs, confuses people as well, which I like, especially if someone takes it as a 9 year old piece of Jap Junk

It's all subjective, I think car fans will get most personal plates if it's on a car with a bit of presence. Not for everyone though and it is a bit more of an expense but that's cool.

Not strictly legal to have it spaced like that ;)

I'm rubbish at number plate recognition but I knew straightaway so probably no need to use illegal spacing.
