Kurt is the man. Has done a bunch for fixes on my cars.
Good to know. Does PDR usually require pulling the interior door panel off? I've never had it done previously.

Ok. I'll reach out to him. In not sure I want to be pulling the panel off a brand new car just yet. They just never seem to go back as tight

He was able to do our Altima door down through the window without damaging the glass or removing the door panel, it was fairly high up on the door though.

Does anyone know of a free and legal way to get TN tag records? I would like to have a little chat with the neanderfuck in the 1996-ish white Ford pickup, TN tag M24 89V that backed into me at BNA tonight in the cell phone waiting lot, and then took off like a bat out of hell. I tried to catch him, but I got stuck in the terminal traffic. I guess you could say I was a tad annoyed.

It's just a small divot in the front bumper, but it will need bondo and paint. What's that cost, $200-$300 to have done right? It's not the damage that bugs me, it's the sniveling cowardice of someone that thinks it's OK to shit on somebody else and then run away and hide.

The airport police advised me that this is a felony, regardless of the amount of the damage, with bonus points if he doesn't have insurance. I hope they have a little free time to pursue this, because stupidity and irresponsibility should be painful. :paddle:

File police report, immediately. Make insurance claim against his vehicle, with tag number and description to insurance. Let them handle it. Most likely they'll just use a urethane type of filler and fix and respray the entire front bumper to fix it.

Yup. It's a little dimple the size of my thumb. And the repair estimate is $635!!!!

I've been going to Beaman Body Shop (downtown) for 20 years; they always do a superb job, and I won't let anyone else touch my car. Even still, that is insane. Time to get some competitive quotes. Anybody have a favorite body shop they would like to recommend?

Paint/Body work of any kind absolutely terrifies me. The F350 I sold when I bought my GT had some minor damage that I tried 5 separate times to have repaired. The driver front fender was replaced and painted. Once in Texas and stephen's here in Nashville tried painting it the last 4 times. They never could get it right, so I sold the truck.

Stephens came *highly* recommended and they claim they do the best work in the mid state area. I would steer clear of that place.

I only use Price's in Cool Springs or Mount Juliet. I've been looking for painter to use for parts in Nolensville and some people suggested Nolensville Collision but haven't had any experience with them. We used Price's in Mount Juliet on our FX35 we had right before we sold it and they did a phenomenal job paint matching the silver metallic on the front end.

Good to know, thanks. They do all of the warranty bodywork for Two Rivers Ford, so I actually talked to them the other day about getting my hood adjusted. And they are just a few miles from my house.

Yeah, that's why I have stuck with Beaman for so long; it's really hard to find somebody that cares enough to do a good job.
