Went to the track Sunday to help a buddy dial in his car and ended up making a couple passes in my GT. On the stock 235 all seasons so mainly just wanted to see what it would trap.

The track prep was awesome so it didn't spin, I just bogged the launch to save from breaking it. E/T isn't setting the world on fire but the car back halved really strong.

That is moving for sure for mph. You didn't have wicked wheel hop when the tires stuck? I only trapped 107 but I am 300 lbs and it was wheel hopping through 1st, 2nd, and into 3rd gear on the shift so not a clean pass by any means. Congrats on the good mph number.

Thanks man! Take advantage of this cool air, the weather was really good that day.

I did a double take at the slip when it was handed to me and thought the first one was a fluke but it backed it up.lol
After the bog I went wot and it stuck 1st and wheel hoped some on the 1-2. After that it was just making clean shifts till the end. I think the torque management in the factory tune helps some.

I am sure the non PP car helps a lot. Mine is PP with the 3.73 gears so the low end hits hard when you stab it. Rear end deflection is just too much with that sudden impact and power.

That's in line with my base 3.55 gear base GT. I ran better 60ft that you did but thats on 19" wheel with continental dw with the car bone stock. I got 12.50'S @ 115-116 MPH.

Glad to see another M6 going fast:headbang:. I got better 60ft starting off idle because otherwise I was getting wheel op and or clutch and torque protection slowing me.

Nice, that's moving! It's good to see that my passes weren't so abnormal. It's always more fun rowing through the gears, but didn't you know the MT-82 was junk? :D

I didn't get a chance to test diffrent launch techniques. Sounds like you had good success starting from idle. The track prep was really good so the car didn't spin in 1st at all or wheel hop. I just casually bogged the car to get it rolling for fear of not being able to drive it home. Lol

The mt-82 have some flaw like the plastic pad on the fork but the gears itself are pretty strong. The gear ratio are perfect for our coyote engine and mine is very smooth. I do have a steeda trans. bushing and a Barton 2 post bracket and she feel perfect!

Thinking more about it when I was stock I was more starting around 1500-2000 rpm slightly slipping the clutch but not to much or else clutch protection was triggered. The 3.55 was helping me a bit compare to your 3.31.

However the 3.31 is very good gear. With my 3.55 with the bolt on now running low 11's I had to switch from 26 to 28" slick because I was to high on the tach at the end of the 1/4 miles.
I gain 1-1.5 mph and .1 to .15 e.t. with my 28". If I had 3.31 I could have keept my small 26" slick and even my 28" would have been great. If one day I go with a supercharger I may end up switching to 3.31.

Again great run!
