So it's my understanding that superchargers come with their own warranty? Usually for 36000 miles and/or 3 years? Is that just for the supercharger, or the whole powertrain (engine).

Cause if it's the latter, then that's a great excuse to get a supercharger after my stock warranty is gone.

Damn....

Does anyone know the approximate statistics of supercharged cars that blow their engine within like 5 years? 1% or less? Cause i see a lot of people getting superchargers...seems like they don't mind the risk.

The Roush SC comes with a 3 year warranty on the engine & drive train as well (if installed by them or an authorized Ford dealer) cost is $995 + the SC & install. You can go to their website & download the warranty & what it covers.

I ran a TVS on 12 at 669/581 for almost 32k miles. drove the car across the states twice. never had any issues. the only reason I got rid of the car was to get my 15.

As stated roush offers a powertrain warranty, but you also have to run their tune, that won't give you the maximum power, and it's one of the smaller blower as at 2.3L. My girls car has been supercharged now for 5k miles, making 640whp, daily driven with zero issues. Not to mention if you find a mod friendly dealer they shouldn't have an issue warrantying stuff that's unrelated to the blower

If you go with the whipple, get the larger throttle body. I just upgraded mine today.

Pay to play bro. Don't slap a supercharger on your car unless you're willing to replace your motor out of pocket or buy from a vendor that offers a powertrain warranty with their system.
