been using them for years
very popular in the SRT community

I'm fairly certain the Cobb AP tuner can accomplish everything the WOT box would/could do for your manual trans EB

the install on the SRT requires cut and splicing which isn't very appealing to new car owners

if you want more info on the wot box, check out N2MB's site

Been using them in the mustang world for a while as well, esp the turbo cars.

I am thinking about doing a group buy on them to get the cost down, spoke with n2mb and there are people using the on the 15's though their web site only show 11-14.
You have to remove the bus connectors going into the computer, pull out 2-3 wires depending on whether or not you are a manual/auto, splice into them and then there are a couple of other wires you have to connect...most people run the plug through the grommet on the passenger side and put the wot box in the glove compartment. You will need to connect the wot box to a laptop via a supplied USB connection to program the wot box.

There's my main problem then...I would have no idea how to do any of that. Still waitin for fr tune to come out as well before I decide on what tune im going to use.

Correct, Cobb provides full control over what the WOTBOX provides. I recommend jumping up to the Accessport so you can get many other benefits that are adjustable.

I'm in for a WOT box group buy! I have a M6 GT on order.

My only question is have they identified the wires that need splicing like they have for the S197? I was reading the S197 install and would like it if they have identified the wires by color and port for the S550.

I have flat foot shifting enabled on my Acessport and use it all the time. I also have launch control and burnout modes. The controls are linked to the cruise control buttons while cruise control is not in use. Videos abound on YouTube

Will the WOT box affect the line lock function on the GT models?

and have you found which specific wires to splice into on the 2015+ models?

Thanks Beefcake, you've been helping me out in a few threads

Do you need to have Acessport connected permanently ?

Nope. Only if you want to look at gauges or datalog. Flatfoot shifting, launch control, 2 step, burnout mode, on the fly map switching (from the tune you loaded) all can be done without having the accessport connected, using the oem controls on your steering wheel. COBB for the win. All these features are standard. I guess it's more apparent why the SCT is $100 cheaper upfront, it's missing a handful of features that end up costing you more than the accessport to get.
