Hi Guys

Just check ETIS, it says the build date is 28/10/2015. Also a long list of features. Does that mean it already started to build?

Thanks

It means it is already built...next step is to go to the upfitters and then shipped to the port for a boat ride..

Sweet as. Thanks mate.
Its earlier than what i expect.
I don't wish to be pedantic but after the upfitters the car is then returned to the plant and released, and put out to await shipment, and then shipped to the port in Baltimore, MD, where it then catches a boat to good old Melbourne town :)
Ian.

PARSIFAL Update

Ship is 12 hours away from the next destination of Panama Canal.

ETA at Panama Canal is 05 Nov 2015, 20:30 UTC.

Let's hope the backlog due to maintenance there is not too heavy and doesn't delay longer than already advised.
A total of 110+ tanker and cargo vessels moored at both ends of the canal the moment.

Next port (Auckland) ETA is still showing as 23 Nov 2015.

Last WWL Update

10.24.2015 Please be advised that ocean carriers are experiencing unusually long waiting periods to transit the Panama Canal.
Since September, carriers have experienced major congestion at the Panama Canal due to interrupted maintenance work performed on the locks combined with high transit demand. The transit queue has developed in excess of 100 vessels and ships can experience upwards of 10-day delays. The Panama Canal Authority has taken some actions, but at the moment the severe congestion is ongoing and expected to continue through November.
WWL is working to ensure the highest possible priority for our vessels.

Your Mustang has set sail

Hi Steven, your Pony is on its way.

Great news, your new Guard Mustang Fastback has been built. It has just left the Port of Baltimore and is heading your way.

You may have seen we’ve sent you an email today with your shipping link. However, we recognise there are many Parsifal vessels, so we want to make it easier for you. You can find your Pony’s vessel here and watch it cross the seas.

With every day that passes, your Pony with the 5.0L V8 Engine and plenty of the latest tech like the SYNC™ 2 connectivity system gets that little bit closer.

As you are one of the first people in Australia who will receive their Mustang we thought you might appreciate a video that shows you the inspiration behind the design and build:

Best wishes,

Ford Australia.

Bloody hell Steve. From no car in 2 years to this, that'll be like learning to walk all over again. Fantastic!

I'm assuming the "ford listed price" means $55K + ORC?

Congrats about the guard mustang. Seems to be rather popular in perth, my colleague also ordered one so now there's 4 that I know of so far!

well things are about to get interesting in Baltimore
The Fidelio is steaming up Chesapeake Bay and there are only the same 46 odd cars for OZ and 40 for NZ booked that have been there all week
Somebody may have to do some overtime

What's the process for build date estimation etc?

Ordered mine June 2015, so not expecting it for a while, just wondering how/when Ford contacted you to tell you expected build & ship dates?

First post, sorry if it's covered elsewhere
