Love my new mustang but where the seatbelt is mounted behind the drives seat seems low and there is no adjustment on it like most new cars. It is kinda low and irritates my collar bone. Anyone else have this problem and if so what have you done help?

They aren't adjustable?! I've got to look at mine tomorrow. I'm 6' no problems with mine. I don't use the seat strap to hold them. Could you change the seat position to aliviate your problem?

They suck even more in the convertibles. Top down, windows down, the damn things flutter like crazy from the wind. Drives me nuts. I found that if I just put one twist in the belt at my shoulder it stops it. Not my first Mustang Vert. The S550 Verts don't have anywhere near the top down wind protection that the earlier iterations had either.

yea its freaking retarded how a 2015 / 2016 car does not have the up / down adjustments on the seatbelt like every single car I have owned for the past 19 years. This issue alone almost caused me to not buy the vehicle, the seatbelt cuts through my neck even with the the stupid little strap on the side of the seat

All coupes are like this. It has to do with the distance of the seat to the b pillar.

The wife has been complaining about this. We left the Mustang home and took the Jeep on a vacation trip because of this problem. I will have to look into the items posted here.

Passenger seat belt in convertible

During the first few weeks of getting my vert...while driving alone...I kept hearing a loud random banging noise when the top was down. I finally had had enough and pulled to the side of the road. Looking at the passenger seat belt, I noticed that the belt was not threaded through the top-of-the-seat clip. When wind gusts hit it just right the belt buckle would slap against the plastic side wall. Some members have complained that they get a loud noise because the side wall has come partially loose and flexes against the wall metal frame.
The side wall has the sound characteristics of a large drum!
Now I make sure that passengers on the right side check that the belt is threaded through the seat click correctly, when they get out.
