I tend to agree with you but I've lightened up a little over the years. Cars have become more and more "sealed" and I don't have the same feeling of doom and gloom re: a short exposure to salt as I once did.I couldn't agree more. If I find evidence it has been littered with salt, I won't accept mine. Not a 60k car. No chance.

I've previously used this on my jetskis and what it seems to do is react and dissolve salt very quickly. The salt residue comes flowing out of crevices and hard to reach areas. I cant think of any reason you couldn't use it at least once on a new car that you wanted to "unsalt". It comes with a mixer/sprayer and if the car was jacked up a bit, you should be able to get the undercarriage pretty well.
