So the hold is STILL on? Ugh, I find it a little pathetic that Ford messed up putting the seat belts on right, didn't catch it in the inspections, and then proceeded to botch fixing it in a quick manner.
The Ford regional rep said she knew nothing about any hold or seatbelt issue

:frusty: Confirmed that there is still a hold. No ETA updates.... just have to wait. No additional information. No one knows anything. :frusty:

How is that even possible? It's a damn twisted seatbelt that can be fixed at the dealer.

So, a couple people have "confirmed" there is a hold, while multiple dealers, customer service and regional reps have denied any kind of seat belt issue or hold. Sounds to me like the cars are just taking a while to be delivered, with exception of those held at the plant for actual holds.

That is untrue. I called the trucking company that currently has my car. They told me there is a hold on the car coming from Ford. they can't release it until Ford authorizes it.

My dealer also confirmed it with Ford's Vehicle Order Processing Center. there is a hold, with no ETA as to when it's going to be lifted. No one has actually confirmed to me or the dealer why there is in fact a hold.

My car was already sent back to the plant and re-released. This is the second hold that is causing delays.

Its on hold, its not on hold, its the seatbelt, its not the seatbelt, they are being released, they are not being released.
Gimme a break Ford.
We are adults, just tell us what happened and give a time line for resolution. The Ford rep told me yesterday she knew nothing about any holds or seatbelt issue. Great customer service!

Agreed, that is the frustrating part. The only semi answer you get is that it's proprietary to the factory.

Hey guys I wanted to share my experience so far. I ordered my 16 Ecoboost Mustang (premium, non PP, redline leather, nav, 20" foundry wheels) on 8/16. Received the vin on 9/17. On 9/22 I received an update from Deysha with an ETA of 10/19, blend date 9/30. Today Ford customer service called me back and said it is still waiting for shipment and that it is normal to wait 4-6 weeks after being built. he gave me a rough ETA of 11/15-11/30. This wait is killing me.

Ordered a 2016 V6 on 8/14, built on 9/29 with original ETA of 10/16. Car was shipped and has been on hold about 2.5 hours away since 10/8 that I know of at this point.

I just hope the wait is worth it (no defects).. According to Ford CS we should expect our cars no later than 11/11. I don't think they can math very well since he told me 11/30.

I've been told it's the local trucking company that's the hold up. Not sure that's true.

Same here. Both the dealer who I trust and customer service have told me this. The only mentions of a hold I have heard are from here.

Yeah, there is absolutely no communication internally at Ford.

Trucking company is telling me that there is a hold coming down form Ford.

VOPC is saying that there is a hold but won't share the reason.

Ford Customer Service Regional Manager just told me that there is no hold whatsoever on Ford's end.

The dealer says that there is nothing they can do to expedite it even though they have escalated it to their Zone/regional managers.

Yeah, it's a total mess. I'm not saying your wrong, or anybody is wrong. Just sharing what I've been told as well. Guess the car will get here when it gets here lol.

Just called local auto delivery company and they state that they have SIXTEEN mustangs all sitting there waiting to be released to multiple dealers.

The shipping company says "There is a "2S Plant Quality Hold on them and they can't deliver them until Ford says OK."
