I submitted a claim and UPS took the package. This was a week ago. Haven't heard anything else, but it sucks being out the cash with no product.

I've never had issues when buying from forum members, with any of my vehicles. Steeda normally does a good job with shipping materials but the seller received it in a tiny box that isn't sufficient for 40lbs of metal, and the packaging was damaged. He attempted to repair it instead of repackaging it and the shipper destroyed the package, lost a spring (how the f***?), and still expected me to accept it. Luckily winter is right around the corner so I'm not driving the car everyday anymore so I'm not in a rush for stuff but UPS needs to resolve this quicker.

I noticed the Steeda box was a little flimsy when mine arrived. They really need to package these in a heavier grade cardboard like Eibach does.

Update so everyone knows how effed this is. Claim was submitted to UPS, package was sent back to the sender. It was delivered to either the sender's home or the UPS location on the 20th of October, I haven't heard a peep since. I'll be filing a paypal claim as well if I don't hear anything within the next few hours.

Filed a paypal claim, since the shipper has all rights to the package and not me. Nothing against the seller as this wasn't 'completely' his fault, but he could have re-packaged it better which would have saved this whole headache. I received the incomplete package OCT 7th, filed the claiim with UPS OCT 8th, haven't heard anything since. UPS told me that all refunds go to the seller which is in a sense understandable but now I'm out the cash, so I had to take measures in order to ensure I get my money back.

Final update: Refund received from the seller. An unfortunate round of events but everything is squared away on my end, so I am satisfied and wish no ill attitude towards moates as he did what was right under the circumstances. Thanks again.
