Cool. I used to live in Gallatin but now I am on Long Hollow Pike. Make the drive to Franklin every day for work.

I know I am being a little premature here since I don't own my S550 yet but do any of ya'll ever meet up? Go to Cars & Coffee in Franklin?

I will be getting mine within a year so I will be wanting to hear exhausts in person and see some mods. Been a while since I have been in the car scene with mods and all but I am looking forward to getting back in.
I have the magnaflow competition series exhaust on my ecoboost. I should be at cars & coffee tommorow morning if you want to hear the exhaust in person!

Well test drove the S550 this weekend...and freaking loved it. I was really surprised at how quiet the interior was when on the interstate. I am thinking I will have it within the next 6 months.

Anyway...where all did you all get your Stang from? I am specifically looking at GT Premium w/ PP. What kind of price did you get out with? I know I can get the X plan price on it if needed but was anyone able to do pretty well without having to use X plan?

Two rivers in Mount Juliet. My family has been buying cars from the same guy there for years. Probably 80 or so cars between us. Ask for Jay Syling and tell him one of the Thompsons sent you. He will shoot straight with you for sure. They are very transparent there.

I will give my wife that info. I have been looking at their dealership for a while now. Do you think you got a "fair deal" on yours or would you call it a "smokin deal"?

I bought mine from Two Rivers as well. Used X-plan plus a Ford coupon. I will have to say that it was one of my easiest transactions, short of purchasing thru an inside connection. They were very upfront, no high pressure sales tactics, warranty push or anything like that. I would definitely recommend them. And I believe most if not all of their sales staff do not work on commission. I know my guy didn't.

Well that is 2 recommending them. We went to Town and Country in Rivergate and the guy there tried to tell my wife that you couldn't get the PP with the black wheels in 2016. She told him to do his homework because she has and she knows you can. What an idiot.

So if I know X-plan correctly it is roughly $250 above invoice for all the options you get, plus any incentives going on...and plus any coupons? How did you get the coupon?

Stay away from town and country. My wife and I bought a focus in March of this year. Like I mentioned, we always deal with Jay at two rivers, but town and country had the car we wanted in stock. Tried to buy it from them to save the hassle of a dealer trade. They were deceptive and gave me the typical sales vibe. Ended up having the car transferred to two rivers and buying from them in the end anyway.

As far as the deal I got on the GT, I think it is somewhere between fair and great. There is really only so much that the dealer can do. I got x plan, plus incentive, plus a private cash offer. Jay did the research and found a $1500 private cash offer I qualified for. If he hadn't done that I wouldn't have known if such a thing and would have gladly paid x plan minus the factory incentive.

I guess what I'm saying is that while the dealership themselves didn't really add any discount ( I doubt any dealer does on a car that is selling itself) they did go the extra mile to make sure I got everything from ford that I could. They have never tried any dishonest sales tactics on me, either. At the end of the day I got $4200 off the sticker price of a $37k car and a good experience to go with it.

I will try more email addresses. I have my main one but I will light it up :)

For me the ceramic is a deal breaker and I have seen that one DIB there :) I just want something other than black for the interior.

My family has bought multiple vehicles over the years from Two Rivers. Pleasant experiences each time. Highly recommend. Sherman is my preferred salesman, but there are several there that will treat you right.

I had a car ordered and was part of the hold last Jan. and ended up cancelling my order and driving 6 hours to pick up a car that pretty much matched my order.
