The black colour of the mustang is metallic black or gloss black. I have a hard time deciding between these two to place order for my black mustang.

Having mine detailed later this month, chemical guy's dealer/importer will do it for me. Hopefully I get a shine and wet look like yours. My 2 month old ebony almost looks grey at the moment...

Well just think about it, see those trucks that are covered in mud, haven't been washed in 6 months? The same amount of pressure/methods that are being used on that truck that is being used on your mustang, with Ford (some of the softest in the industry) paint.

2 bucket wash fo lyfe.

Just use QD in between washes.

Hand-wash 2 bucket indeed, VO7 and QD. Still want to have a detailer do the coating with [FONT=&quot]c-quartz [/FONT]first, drying the car spotless has been an issue for me so far. The coating will also protect the car for upcoming winter as I have no usable garage and my carport isn't built yet. Ill post some pictures once it's done ;-)

Hello Black pony owners,

I just pre-ordered my black mustang 2015 today. At that time my dealer asked me whether I want to go for metallic black for an extra $500 or not. I don't know the difference between the metallic black and the gloss black and they look. So I asked him for a day to decide on this. Can you please explain to me the difference.

Pls post pics of your black ponies (both metallic & gloss) so that I can feel the difference.

15's came in black with no metallic and the 16's are in shadow black which has some metallic but not really that noticeable. There is no upcharge for shadow black so I'm not sure why he said there was. You can go on fords website to build and price one.

Do these wheels use a hub centric spacer? One place said they did one place said they didn't.

Thanks guys - no spacer on the wheels.

Windshield is tinted 40%, 5% tint on the sides.
