Cool. Anybody else getting this email? I'm just happy I finally got a Vista screen print. No VIN yet but I didn't order 'til March.
Yes, I got the same email yesterday. Vista showing ETA to dealer 12 December. Bit disappointed that has moved from 28th November but at least its further confirmation that it is built and on its way.

I'm not going to chase my dealer just to see how slowly the information gets to me  the ETA's are anyone's guess, all depends on how long the cars take to get through customs. I believe 12 weeks is the max? That's what I'm telling myself anyway!

So yours is on a boat? Can you check that through the site in that email?

I don't think any UK cars are on a boat yet and sailing.
Cars are being loaded onto rail and making there way to port for departure.

I was under the impression that the first batch was on the water now? Anyone here brave enough to give Karen Batt a call?

I would be surprised if they are not on the way by now!

I was just doing reverse math on stevec's delivery date of 12th to his dealer - that's 9 weeks away, and the dealer information is 12 weeks from leaving the factory to dealer.

Of the back of that, I assumed this would mean it was on a boat now.... Maybe I'm just proving that old statement (when you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME) [emoji15]

9-12 weeks for delivery, mine was supposed to leave the factory yesterday. Don't know if it has, sick of pestering people for updates now.

Funnily enough I got an email from my dealer this afternoon!

"I just wanted to drop you a quick line with an update on your car, everything is going ahead as planned, no change from Ford with an estimated delivery date."

So I replied stating that I believe my car was build on Monday...

"Yes the car came off of the assembly line on Monday, as I understand it Ford often do checks ect after cars come off the assembly line before it is shipped. But as soon as it is in transit I will let you know."

Pleasant surprise to get an email. Even though it was info I already knew!

I spoke to Karen. Batch 1 (which my car is in) are "shipping" now so are on the water somewhere. I haven't been able to get the vessel name.

Does anyone know which ship they're on?

Nothing coming up on the W&W tracker except military sales so I assume they've used another haulage co.

The question is - is "shipping" actually "on-a-boat" shipping, or shipped out of flat rock....

Just replied to the other thread before reading this one! Ignore my question re the ship name! I was looking at schedules the other day from a link I saw on here somewhere. Will have a look now...

This is what I was looking at the other day...

Looking at the schedule, I reckon it's the "FIDELIO" http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/tradeRouteSearch.do?routeId=EUNAI&actionType=generatePDF which arrives southampton on 24/10/2015.

Enter the "voyage" number (5219-ACS) here; http://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?url=http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/

And a screenshot. Seems likely to me! Note: I grabbed this info whilst in a mad rush to try and leave this office, might be wrong but I'm sure if it is someone else can work it out!
