My dealer has been telling me up to 20 weeks from factory to them. I'm really fed up of waiting now :D

Starting to lose interest and thinking what else I can get with half the money. I know Ford did say Q4 but the lack of info and updates is making my excitement wane, big time.

My dealer emailed me a few days ago now and said Ford are running 4-6 weeks behind on deliveries. He's been spot on with information so far. That would put my delivery back from early December to early January at best I would imagine. My car is number 121 (I think) so if your number is around about the same or higher I wouldn't bank on seeing it before new year.

Keep the faith guys - it's got the the stage that a year from ordering is going to be the norm (perhaps a bit like having a child!)
We get too much info on this forum and as such our expectations are much higher and so the lows are much much lower.....
It's not as if there are hundreds of them already on the road here and we are missing out - they just ain't here :-)
When they get here we'll be the first to have them and they will be a rare sight on the road so lots of jealous looks coming our way and lots of waves and flashes to fellow Pony dirvers when we finally get saddled up!
Hang tough guys - it will be worth it in the end.

OK, so having seen my build date on Etis go from 24.09.2015 to 30.09.2015, apparently possibly due to going into resegmentation, it's now changed back to 24.09.2015 and, I could be mistaken here, it's now showing interior colour & fabric on the list whereas before I could've sworn they weren't there...?

I'm going to take a guess and say, optimistically, once it comes out of resegmentation the build date reverts back to the original ACTUAL build date. Anyone confirm?

Also, if I've got that right, does this mean my car is now ready for shipping?

Yeh, I am kind of with you. Now I have confirmation that my car has been gate released I am fairly relaxed.
Good thing that Ford will be letting us know the name of the ship our cars will be on plus link to the tracking website so we can track them

:kickrock:Finally got a build date. From Karen, not my dealer surprise surprise. 15th Oct. Looks like Nov delivery will never happen but at least it's progress. It should arrive just in-time for the snow:clap2:

Finally got my VIN ..in a std email from my dealer ..apparently supplied by Ford UK as a template for all dealers to use...to standardise communication (I guess Karen , Andy et al are fed up with being individually emailed ..).

I placed my order / deposit 21st Jan 2015 . Now on Etis / window sticker , looks like mine was built on 1/10 ...but i'm not convinced .....interesting that today I received the mail below stating 28/9
Thx to Centurion 07 for the info on the tracking websites ......it's all coming together ....:clap2:

Dear Matthew,

Thank you for placing your order for a Ford Mustang. I wanted to let you know that production of right-hand drive Mustangs has now started at our production facility in Flat Rock, Michigan, USA.

Your vehicle is one of the earliest builds and is scheduled for build on 28/09/2015.

The anticipated shipping time to our dealership is 12 weeks after vehicles have left Flat Rock.

Once your vehicle has cleared customs and is loaded onto a ship in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, we will be in touch again to share with you the name of the vessel. This will allow you to track its progress via www.vesselfinder.com. Once your vehicle has reached Zeebrugge, please allow 5-6 weeks for European customs clearance and onward delivery to the UK.

While it’s been a long wait, we hope this live tracking will provide more information in the final phase of waiting.

Yours sincerely,

Cool. Anybody else getting this email? I'm just happy I finally got a Vista screen print. No VIN yet but I didn't order 'til March.

Well said indeed :) little update from me...

My "scheduled build date" was 28/09/2015, I found this out a few weeks back. Window sticker had a blend date of the Friday 02/10/2015. Been checking ETIS daily & today it has finally updated! with a build date of Monday 05/10/2015. Don't think it has sunk in yet - awesome to know that my car physically exists now!

I have seen a EDD of 16/12/2015 which is 12 weeks so seems sensible - will be more than happy with that! I know that's not set in stone though. Great seeing that email with the shipping details to track. A nice touch from Ford I think, you know we would be hounding them for that information if it wasn't given to us!
