I didn't see a thread on this, so sorry if I missed it and there is one.

Anyone know how these cars will be shipped? Will they be wrapped like the 50th Anniversary cars? Or, more just like the standard Mustang's?

Who's going to have it prepped vs do it themselves?

I'd let the dealership remove the stickers and such but DO NOT let their detail flunkys wash it. I bet we've forgotten more about detailing than those idiots know. :lol:

NO.
The 50th LE was a unique run of 1964 cars and much of the concept of the wrapping was tied to presentation and the 50th celebration. Ford also took a lot of crap from LE buyers over dealers that kept (and then sold on ebay) the covers or tossed them out. It also ties into the 50th celebration that buyers of those cars received a gift box form ford etc.

The SVT cars (cobras and GT500s) never received this treatment... I certainly wouldn't expect with the 2016+ GT350s (50000 cars give or take). For the very limited run of 137 50th anniversary 2015s who knows... If there was anything special it might be for the R's but no word of such has leaked and I'm not expecting it...but my expectations ain't worth anything.

I'll let the dealer do all the mechanical prep but told them to leave the stickers, wrappers and cleaning to me. Also no front plate bracket or ugly dealer sticker on the back end.
