Fair price GT350

Geesh. At this point and likely for the next 8 months at least, I'd bet 9 out of 10 dealers who has a remaining (or an additional) '16 non-R allocation will command an ADM.

I think that's very safe to say. I have a different problem now. I used Nationwide my whole life to ensure my cars. Today I get off the phone with them and they tell me they cannot write a policy for me on a GT350 because they consider it a performance/racing car. They said my only recourse to stay with them is they partner up and write me a separate policy with Haegerty Insurance and consider it a collector car and it will be $1529 a year with $500 deductible with the car valued at 60K. Anybody else have these issues that are ordering a GT-350?

They said your only recourse?? I assume you responded, my recourse will be to look for a company that can handle all my insurance needs

My Insurance company will insure this car for $200 more than my existing Mustang, with replacement cost, although I doubt I could get it replaced.

My insurance company (USAA) could not give me an exact quote without a VIN, but after descbribing the car to them they made no mention that they would not be able to insure a Shelby GT350. They used a 50th Anniversary to give me a rough idea.

2K as in "only" a $2,000 markup for an R? Heck I'll do that in a heartbeat. 20K (twenty g's) no way but for two-thousand yes sir... can I have it?

Yes, 2k ADM.
I have thought about it and made up my mind to be 5k max on ADM. I love the R car, but not to pay over 5k more than what it is advertised for. But, you never know,......you don't ask, you don't get.

Now you got me confused... you previously said "I refuse to pay over 2k ADM for a R car"... now you say you'd pay up to 5K ADM?
If so, man you shoulda jumped on the R for only a 2K ADM. :shrug:
Heck I'd pay 4x that ADM for an R! :headbonk:

I haven't shopped for a R car yet. I'll be looking early next year. I'm paying off my '13 RS3 sometime this month and will be looking at the GT350R for next year. Originally I was going to not pay more than 2k ADM, but I thought it about it more and will go to 5k ADM. I really like the car.
I hope that explains it a little better. lol
