I've given some thought about selling my LS. I just don't want to have sellers regret as it's in primo condition.
same here. I don't think I'll sell mine when the gt350R comes but I, likely, will sell when the Focus RS shows up.

I have my eye on the Focus RS next year.... we haven't really seen any in depth performance reviews stateside yet but it's already enticing. This will be my autocross car and with occassional road course use. I also like the fact it's produced in Germany... hope their over-engineering hats are on.

I'm thinking of trading in my '13 GHIG Roush Stage 3, almost all optioned Mustang for a 2016 GT350R. My car is super clean and super low mileage. Less than 3k on the clock. (I actually have a buyer for my car, so I don't really have to do a trade-in. He wants the car for his son. He has almost the identical car to mine. Dude is loaaaddeeeeddddd! lol :D)
Just don't want it to be a hassle to get one and pay a stupid, crazy amount in ADM. The most I will do is, 2kin ADM. I love the car, but not that much! :headbonk:

Here's my theory, and why I'd started the other thread about VIN's and build dates a few weeks back.
I'd noticed that a lot of cars were scheduled for that 10/12 week...and if you look at the spread in VIN's it seemed way too many cars to build in a single week (assuming they build them sequentially based on the VIN).

I think they had tentatively just bucketed a whole bunch of cars into that week and are, just now, really sorting out production pace and so I think we'll see many of the earlier-VIN cars slated for 10/12 to stay in that week and cars with VIN's into the 400's or higher moving out to dates that may, finally now, be realistic.
Might be true, but not building in VIN order best I can tell.
Someone posted a VIN 408 or something being built 10/19
mine 307 is was moved and slated for 10/26:confused:

SBY , recaros and torsen dif with track key option , 15K miles , clean car fax in mint condition. The previous owner put ford mufflers from the GT 500 on her. All stock otherwise.
Nice. I have thought about selling mine but I can't bring myself to do it. It's absolutely gorgeous.

2013 GHIG, pilot production PP0008, track key not activated, Torsen, and <2500 miles.

Most fun, most pleasurable driving car I have ever had.

If I were you, I would keep that car if you could and keep it in great shape.
That's awesome.

Thanks. Like I said, I'm having a hard time considering it, but I have to pick between letting go of a pristine 71 Boss B351 or the 13 Boss 302.

there's a disconnect between what people are being told, when they post info, and what's actually happening. So, based on what I'm seeing, I'd guess that the vin 408 car hasn't gotten an update as updated as yours...I'm not concluding that they're building out of (VIN) order yet. It could happen based on material constraints, but not for other reasons.

mine is vin 0418, i called today and they said mine was moved to 10/19 from 10/12, new eta is 11/15-11/21, but all of that can change of course. I usually call FP once a week, and if im in the neighborhood, i check with my dealer once a week as well and they both have the same info each time mine is moved. my build date has gone from 8/21,9/14,10/12 to finally 10/19, so im not holding my breath, but it would be nice if they would stop moving it and actually build it. i would be happy to just finally see my window sticker!

You don’t want to know
Ford Performance told me the GT 350s are not being built in VIN order to eliminate the "Mine is newer than yours" and "Mine is better than yours, because it was built before yours" BS.

I started this thread back on 8/10.... a week after I bought my 2015 unit. It's been produced since 7/29.... FP doesn't know why it's still at the plant just like the other 136 completed units still sitting there. Obviously the dealer doesn't know either. I just hope that there are no major issues they're dealing with there.... especially with our early retail production cars. But I'm well aware that's the risk with the first year of all-new production models. I'm still excited & anxious though! :)

I really do hope they start shipping out soon.... today is technically "Fall" season already. :D

I talked to someone at Ford Performance a couple days ago. He told me that they were hoping the cars would ship by the end of this month, but he doesn't have any information, nor does he know why they haven't shipped...

An inscrutable riddle, stuffed inside a mystery, wrapped by an enigma, surrounded by perplexity.
