Still waiting for my next Lund tune. I've been stuck dataloging since Saturday when I sent first idle and manual Rev datalogs. Did a slow pull partial throttle up to 5000 rpm yesterday. Still waiting for response to know what datalog to do next. I didn't realize the Lund tuning process was going to take this long. I'm dying to make some boost.

I had never done a remote tune before and I was feeling the same during the tuning process. The wait is worth it though! Hang in there.

I love how the black finishes look. Mine was pretty loud without the bumper on too.

Can you do me a huge favor? Ive had a problem with HO kit since I bought it in March. I cant seem to figure out what the problem. I talked to a mechanic that told me I have similar symptoms to someone who was sent the wrong headunit. All I need is for you or anyone that has a procharger on a 15 to take a picture of the front of their blower. I talked to a tech at procharger and the blower fins are only supposed to go one way. After looking at one of your pictures it looks like the fins are going the opposite way so there may be a possibility I was sent the wrong headunit.

Here's a picture of mine.
wouldn't surprise me, mine was clocked incorrectly.

I'll be in the same boat. I plan to have all these wonderful parts installed prior to the 30th. After that its all a waiting game but hopefully I can have a taste before leaving the country.

Ok. So how long did it take you from your first datalog sent until you got your tuned dialed in. Here is the process so far:

Saturday - first datalog sent (idle and neutral rev)
Monday at 1:00 pm. ( Lund Support - need two more logs)
Monday at 2:30 pm (emailed datalogs)
Tuesday at 4:25 pm (Lund support need 2 WOT runs)
Tuesday at 8:30 pm (emailed datalogs)
Wednesday - Still no response as of yet.

This is driving me nuts. :frusty: I am sitting here constantly hitting refresh on my email hoping for something.

At this rate, I am not sure I'll be tuned by the end of the week.

Im on the 5th day, right now (albeit one day was a Sunday). Does it normally take this long. Had I known it took this long upfront, I probably would have gone a different route.

Really? I received my first tune in March, and it still isn't done, it basically could only go wot. Tuner just finally gave up today.

Maybe you are sucking up all the tuners time. Maybe I might get mine done now.

I don't think you've been without a tune since march. You've dynoed and made good numbers. I'm still stuck at a no WOT, no boost, Base tune.

We don't use the same tuner. I've been in the tuning process since March. Yes, mine goes WOT pretty good. I've eliminated the surge, but then lost the ability to go WOT.

Driver demand tables are a weird thing.

So, what I am saying is, you could be in a worse situation. You could be doing logs since March.

I would have given up on remote tuning by then. I don't have that much patience or time to keep doing data logs for that long. Lund guys are very nice and good, but seems they are understaffed for their demand.

guys, you all need to be a little more patient.

be patient a little, and please do the math correct lol.

day 1 is Monday. Saturday is Saturday, sunday is sunday, lund is mon through Friday. so you can't count those days

so your going to have all the logs in that were uploaded since Friday afternoon to get to before yours on Monday.

after the first set of logs your giving the go ahead to drive, the car is driveable just not in wot,

so within 5 hours of lund being open on Monday you have a car that is driveable on the street, 5 hours.

call any tuner on the planet that does in house tuning, and 1 - try to even get a base file to be tuned on, usually you have to tow the car there to even get started.

with lund you have the file ,before you even have the kit most of the time, much less installed.

and, try getting a car that is driveable within 5 hours of emailing in about needing a tune.

most good tuners are booked 2-4 weeks out.

I think we spent 5 - 8 weeks even debating on what combo to go with, lol. and the car is driveable within 5 hours.....

the best tune on the planet, and in a timely fashion.

a couple days of remote tuning really is very small in the scheme of things

:)

Sounds like you can chat with BoostWorks, Livernois, Coastal, Abel, or any of the many many others out there right now rocking systems like yours and big power.

ALSO:
HPTuners will have a ProCharger system on their company car soon, just saw the order go through the other day. So, that might help your situation. (actually having a car inhouse, instead of remote tuning)
