Hey guys, so I recorded a few clips of my intake and this is after a couple hundred miles of driving with it on.

I do freelance video work so I decided to use some of my equipment, including an external recorder so you guys could hear what it sounds like more accurately. Hope it's helpful!

Damn! From the video I would have guessed exhaust on top of intake. Sounds great!
Man, when I first test drove it after installing it I was not expecting the engine to sound like that.. It really vibrates the whole car when you accelerate!

I have been holding off on an intake until a video like this was posted. There have been some attempts at videos like this from people, but for the most part, they have been quiet and you couldnt hear much. Im not expecting much of a performance gain, I just want it for the sound.

So yea, thanks for the video, you just cost me $300! ha

Yea it is amazing what the intake can do! Before I went with LT headers my intake would create an amazing sound between 3-5k that made the car sound so aggressive! Now with LT headers that kind of gets canceled out by the exhaust!

I feel the same way. I just took the risk and bought it. I am the only person who has posted a review of the intake on AM. Trust me, you will not regret buying this! I drove my brothers car, which is a bone-stock s550 v6, after driving mine and it actually improved throttle response and has gained a bit of power in the higher RPM.

I was curious as to what it would sound like after upgrading the exhaust, so thanks for the heads up! I still want to upgrade my exhaust but I want to go with something that I know I will have on my car for a very long time. I don't want to buy mods and switch them out in the long run. That's why I'm thinking of just getting the long tubes because I don't want to be disappointed with the lack of power that shorties offer. I herd that some guys with shorties want more power so they change them out and other guys with long tubes want something with a different exhaust note (same case as yours).

Yea mostly for me it has just become to expensive to continue. I want to go with something that I know works and is "legal" in case I end up moving/relocating later on. LT headers with High flow cats fits that bill but in order to get those cats I would have to spend another $200-$300.... So it is that option or sell my LT headers and use that money to buy the shorty headers. That and I do kind of prefer the sound that shorty headers provide.
