Apparently one side of the stock set up is one unit with the Cat included! The other side you can just remove the cat???? Which side is one piece and why would Ford do that???:frusty::shrug:

No clue but I believe it is the passenger side that is one piece.

Nope, driver side is one piece.

Op, don't know why Ford did it but if you want to go cat-less checkout the MAK cat delete pipes. They require some cutting/welding but they say any good exhaust shop can handle it. MAK has a recent post with pictures of the welding and other info.

Bummer.....drove over a rock....( either the oncoming car or the guard rail on the right so....I chose the rock!!!) Chewed up the cat and my newly installed ARH exhaust system!! Heading to the shop then my insurance company!
