Are you a PP GT or non-PP GT? I ask this because I know that if you don't run a spacer on the front with the Downforce DF5's(5-spoke) and are non-PP, it will more than likely hit the caliper. And even if your a PP, you need a spacer on the front to clear the dust caps. This is if you are talking about the DF5's.My whole issue is I want the wider tire to get he grip that accompanies it, and I want to be able to rotate the tires as well. And if 285 is all I can go on 20's than that's what it's going to have to be unless I get gt350 fenders when they are available, and I'm sure those are going to be astronomical in price.
And the wheels I want are readily available and I'm suprised I haven't seen them on anyone's car yet. they are just the downforce wheels 20x10 that you can get from LMR.
At this point I'm chomping at the bit for Koni to release their shocks so I can have ground control prototype me some coilovers sleeves.
very nice, ya by decreasing the profile your capable to put in a wider tire to a limit.
How close is "super close"? Opinions vary, and what's "super close" to some people might not be seen that way by others.I'm on a 285 with a 20x10 up front and while it's super close, I haven't had any issues so far. I'm running -1.2 to -1.4 degrees of camber up front.
