Has anyone done the rear quarter window blackout from American muscle or Cjponyparts? How easy was the install and how do you like it? Please post pics if you have them.

15 - Good question and it's a super super easy install.

Think of it being analogous to head/taillight tint.

My only suggestion would be to get the car in a cooler place as opposed to direct sunlight to make the install easier.

They're designed and cut in house here so if there were anything that were to ever come up I'm always here to help out no matter what.

I mean I installed it at a meet in the dark by myself. Just have someone help you with it. Mine came out pretty much perfect. Don't use a credit card on it to smooth it out cuz it will scratch.

wow that looks really good, I love the cave effect but hate the blind spot issue, Can you see through it at all from the inside or is it totally blacked out?

I've been toying with either this, a set of louvres or Limo tint for the back quarter windows... Not sure what would look the best

I have limo tint all the way around on my GTPP and you can't see through those rear quarter windows from the outside. However, you can see through them from the inside. It's basically the best of both worlds.

Got any pics? My cars black too.
+1 I'm looking at tints and not sure if I want to do 18 all around 18/5 front/rear or just screw all logic and 5 all around.

I love my 5% all-around tint and would highly recommend that. Sorry, the pics aren't the greatest. I'm at work so I just ran outside and snapped these really quick. As I mentioned, though, you can't see through the rear quarter window at all because of how small it is and how dark it is in the back seat with the all-around tint. You can't really see through the front windows either, for that matter. And yes, I also have a sun strip.

EDIT: Holy shit the pictures were massive! I forgot to resize them. I'll just link them instead, here they are:

Nice. I think I might go with louvres. I don't want to see the pillar behind the window as cool as your Stang is, I can still see it.
