Just putting it out there to see if there's any feedback on Freektune Cobb or SCT tunes on the EBM.

I have a Freektune for both pump and E30. They both run fantastic. Justin is a great tuner and is producing some great results. A friend of mine went 12.6s on just his E30 Freektune and a drop-in filter.

What type of power numbers is Freektune putting out? How much boost?

As far as power numbers, I don't know that right off the top of my head. Justin has tuned a few of them, but he doesn't have a shop car so I don't know that he has really released any hard numbers yet. What I can tell you is how it compares to other tunes that I have.

As far as boost is concerned, his tunes are pretty similar to other tunes on the market from what I've reviewed in my logs. The part where he stands out is within his timing strategy. With his tunes, I can run a couple degrees more timing, especially on E30, than I do with any of my other tunes. That extra timing makes the car feel stronger than the ones without it.

Where the biggest difference lies with his tunes and my other tunes is in the partial throttle/light-medium load scenarios. He does dial up the throttle feel and such, but when you're not WOT, it will still somewhat stock'ish. It's not jerky and doesn't have a razor's edge feel with the throttle. It's smooth and linear. A lot of people seem to like that. Tame while driving like a sane person and wild while you're hooning around.

He has great customer service too. In most cases, you'll get a reply within hours. When we were doing my datalogging, he was very open to conversation and my questions about where we could improve the tune. He's really open-minded and will do what he can to accommodate any tuning requests (as long as it's safe for the car).

Overall, I'd have nothing negative to say about him or his tunes and he'd come highly suggested from me. He's ALWAYS one of the first tuners I mention when it comes to any of the various EcoBoost platforms.

Btw, I know this isn't EcoBoost related, but the MZR is the grandfather to the EcoBoost, so close enough lol. Justin just recently broke the world record and had the first Mazdaspeed 3 into the 10s (1/4 mile). His work really speaks for itself.

Awesome numbers! Drag radials I assume?
208EBstang's car is a freak, the dam thing went 13.2 @ 103 bone stock, now with just a drop in filter and a E30 tune it's ran those numbers.....

Ran the 12.63 on a borrowed set of Hoosier bias-ply 28x10.

My goal for the season is at least [email protected] on the current setup. With the cooler weather in the coming weeks till the season ends, the car should do it without a problem assuming the driver is up to the task lol.

Are you going to make it to the August 29th event? I'll be out there on street tires. You should definitely beat me with ease if you're on DR's now haha.

What temps are you running in and what is your race weight?
Here in Dallas it's been 106+ and I can't beat 14.4 stock (3,900lb EB,PP,50,Prem)
Best of 13.933 w/SCT canned tuned on factory shoes.

Mine is a base, non-pp, auto. Went 13.24@104 completely bone stock. Just lowered the tire pressure on the oem Goodyear All-Seasons and took out the passenger and rear seats, and spare.

I assume you mean 3,900 with you sitting in it because the base curb weight is only about 3,530 and 400lbs from the premium features alone is a bit much
