For snow/ice conditions, a narrower tire is usually better as the weight of the car is spread over a smaller contact patch (think tall skinny rear tractor tires!). I don't know if there would be a huge difference in traction with 10mm though, but everything helps.
I'm going to run the stock A/S Neros out here in Vancouver. We didn't get any snow last year and it rarely went below zero. If we do get some bad weather, I'll drive the wife's AWD Escape or work from home for the day.
Must we talk about winter already?[emoji16]
