I wouldn't put aftermarket coils on my car if someone gave them to me for free.

I am not knocking Beefcake. I am merely saying good enough is not good enough. To say stock coils are good enough is backward thinking. I mean the guy believes in MMR and MMR believes in the coils. 1/2 of coyote stock runs them and they are the stars of Coyote engines - making max power with no power adder required.

[ame] - Accel did the same thing

the quickest coyotes out there run the stock coils, they have been in the 7s on the stockers.

I have yet to see any real proof of the cars picking up,

Did you sign up only to sell these coil setups?

Welcome. Cool story, bro, but still illustrates zero proof that they do as intended.

OK - I understand your position. You have not tried it so it cannot work. That is your position. I respect what you're trying to say - just don’t understand why you’re confused.

Pro Stock cars are widely known as making the most HP per cubic in with conventional pushrod style motors - nearing 3 hp per cubic inch. Many run Granatelli wires.

Jon Kaase made just at 2.4 hp per cubic inch with a 4v navigator motor on pump gas AND GRANATELLI COILS. In fact he made so much power he was asked not to compete anymore with a mod motor - That spoke volumes

Two-time champ Shane Stymiest runs Granatelli coils as does Joe Charles the other guy that won a championship in the class

Last time I checked Granatelli did not pay contingency so why would the fastest guys in the most competitive Coyote class and Pro Stock pay for GMS coils if they did not help? - The question is rhetorical - we know why.

To say you cant make power (more power) with better coils is like saying you cant make more power than a Lund tune becuase that is what you are running. (its close minded) if you came here and said you had Granatelli coils on your car and it slowed down - then we could look at that as they don't work. Or if you came here and said i ran them and ran the same then we could surmise it made no difference. But you're saying - You never ran them, have no first hand knowledge of them but you ran really fast already so thats good enough.:headbonk:

Respectfully i dig your car and I think you have got fast but your have no real first hand knowledge. You run a blower you get for free a motor you purchase from MMR and tune you get from Lund.

Where's the Beef? You are a super enthusiast with a fancy decal job. You're job is to drive and wax the car. There is nothing wrong with that and while i am coming off a bit flipant I dont mean to be. I am really saying I just named 5 different people that actually uswed teh product and got results. Your saying you never used them but still went fast so you dont need them.

If Vortech dropped your support and you all of a sudden had to pay for your forced induction stuff would you really just buy a Vortech or would you look at a procharger and or a turbo set up. If you say no then you are right back where we started. See not, try not, understand not.

I am also not knocking Vortech as they have been very good to me but you gotta be fickle in racing if you want to lead.

We are not talking about coils anymore - are we? We are talking about product knowledge or should I say firsthand knowledge. While I think GMS makes a great product and I believe in his stuff. You can bet if I am paying for the best - I want the best. While sometimes that may be subjective, today there is a clear leader in coil technology and that is what the first question was.:amen:

As for proof. What proof do you need? there are now 3 dyno tests in this link not counting Jon Kaase and Engine Masters - and every test was on a different day, different dyno and different engine - what more proof do we need?

That question is not rhetorical

The bottom line is the 11+ coyote coils have been in the 7's, I would say that is more then enough proof that the stock ignition system is good "enough" for 99.999999999% of the guys on this forum and 99.999999999% of the 11+ coyote mustang owners and racers out there. I mean with that said, who the heck is the target market for these coils for the coyote motor? A hand full of coyote stock guys? I haven't heard of anyone experiencing spark blow-out or and other ignition related problems with the stock coyote ignition system.

The fact that aftermarket coils/wires have been proven on other platforms and other motors is not relevant here...we are specifically talking about the 11+ stock coyote ignition system.

And furthermore to call beef out like you did in your previous thread is outright ignorant. He has pushed these platforms harder then most and has been here for the community for years.
