Wait, is that price right? How could a Shelby GT cost less than my Ecoboost?

When it comes to a Shelby, it's all about that CSM number and registry inclusion for prosperity 30 years down the road....

For the price you might as well get a BMW M4. The Mustang is supposed to be a performance bargain

That's the price of the Shelby package after you purchase the base GT.
Thought so....
That would bring it closer to $70k, which makes much more sense.

Yes you can put all those goodies on yourself for less but I don't think in 30 years it would be the same. I know a lot of people have claimed the age of collector value cars is past but I don't agree.

The same was said about coins. Most said since they no longer made coins or copper and silver the collector value would be gone. Didn't happen. What holds true is the production number determines the value. Even a modern penny, if a low number minted, will only go up in value. I think the same will be true for the Shelby. Give it 30 years and it will bring far more than being paid for now to collectors.
Yeah but then you turn into that guy that's afraid to drive his car because they don't want more than 20k "original" miles on their future investment.

$60's

They run $61,000 to as high as $70,000 depending on how many upgrades you get. Lower than you can buy a Hellcat for and a much better overall vehicle. In fact based on ADM BS on GT350's not that much more than those for 100 more HP.

Some will like it and some wont, I get a feeling most of the people that don't like, either cant afford it, like me :-) or are under 25 and don't understand what a Shelby is all about. I actually like everything about it. Looks good in every color too, and I think for all that you get along with the Shelby Name and Registry, there actually a pretty good deal.

Just my two cents , Chris

Is this a better Pic

I don't know how anyone compares a Shelby to a Roush or Saleen? Not in the same ballpark even.

Yea and your car might end up a mismatched mess with no warranty and most likely no value above current GT Value for USED.

Yea do that,

For 66 grand I can have a base gt, recaros and 3.55 gears m6, modded the way I want, 1200hp, Built motor, JT-B blower, tremec xl swap, Dss Carbon fiber drive shaft, dss 1400hp axles and all the other required things for the build. Yeah id pass on that package.

Really a BMW

I have had a recent BMW, they can keep em, talk about weird issues and once the warranty runs out, run, run away really fast.

No thanks,

This car seems to be getting no love and it's insane. 650 Shelby ponies for 60k in a car that already handled awesome stock. I would bet this Car is as fast or faster than a gt350 around a track. The 350r is most likely still faster but this is a beast for the $$ and it looks nice I think.
