Just get the 2016. The 2015 wont be an investment. If it truly is, have the dealer put it in writing that they will buy it back from you for twice what you paid for it in 5 years. Furthermore, if you were to trade in the car in a year, do you think your dealer will pay anywhere close to what you paid? Of course not
Unless something happens that will devastate me financially then I am not concerned about the investment part or the dealer buying it back in a year or 5

Anytime there is a run of only 50 cars, the came will surely be higher. if your intentions are to keep it and be an investment then it's worth the little extra to get the 15.
That's what I'm thinking.

Yep here it is...

Congrats on all that are getting a 2015 model year. I tried with no luck. No Dealers in the Southeast could even order 1. At least in my part of the woods. But I did get a 2016 Avalanche Grey with Black Strips, Black Roof and Track Pack.
Car is being built Monday and Dealer is saying I will have it late August/Early September. Vin # 1FA6P8JZ4G5520108.

I'm just surprised that the 15's are being built on 29th and my 16 is being built on Monday 3rd.

I dying with anticipation!

See if he will do 5, your first on the list and until the order closes I would practice some negotiation skills.

If he will do 5k then I'll pull the trigger. Can always use more negotiation skills.

Someone decoded 90/100 MY15s...within the thread they found 2 more VINs...so 8 unaccounted for cars. But yeah, everything I have read points to the MY2015s being all done. I can understand if it was a pre-built car, since there is a fixed number of track/tech pack cars, seems a bit odd they will let you order it as you see fit.

I think it is too late to order a 2015 GT350 to your sepc, so I would check into that first before doing anything

Congratulations you're one of the lucky guys that can give us 10k more than something is worth because we like you.

It is a cool car but when you invest I always thought it was buy low sell high?

You don’t want to know
I know that most members hate ADM as I do too but being that it is so rare I can kind of see why they would charge more. I'm wanting to keep it longer than 5 years.
That ADM is $2K a year at most, depending on what you can negotiate. You blow that much every year on things you don't need!

As one of 50, this car will hold its value better than any other car you can buy today, for anywhere near the same money. If you have the money ready for buying a car now, this is the one. Just do it!

As for my vote, if it was a local dealer, I would prob easily pay the 5k to have a 2015 track pack car. 10k would be too much, but 5-7k I could stomach. It may not appreciate anytime soon (if ever), but I do think they will depreciate at a much slower rate

This. I'm leaning towards misinformation somewhere in the chain.
