I think what makes it so loud is that's an X pipe if it would be an H pipe I think it wouldn't be so loud and sound deep, I would of had perfered it to be H even try to have one custom made but it was going to be hard to make because of the tight fit I guess that's why for made made it an X instead of H, and plus I have head the side exits scratch the ground like 2 time going over bumps and a very steep ramps and I have not lowered my car I think if I had gone custom may be it would scratch more often.
Is it worth it well I think it is because my car has a unique sound, that I think not many mustangs are going to sound like in my area and that's what I'm looking for when modding for my cars to be different then the other mustang, and also I do love the sound I think it sound angry when I get on it.
I might buy the QTP boss cut out for the 2012 the only bad thing is that they cost 340 and I have to see if they fit, but if they do I will have the best of both worlds, quiet as stock when close and crazy loud when open.
Any chance you can up load more videos? (Fly by) ( inside the car)

I have been thinking about the cutouts with the quad exhaust too... Keep us updated if you go this route!

That sounds absolutely awesome. I was debating on this exhaust or an H-pipe with Borla Touring mufflers. I have the Lethal H-pipe kit with stock mufflers and it sounds great, but too quiet; unless at rapid acceleration/WOT and then it has a nice bark. After hearing this, I think I'm gonna get the BOSS quad kit and use the restrictor plates to tune the volume.

No I didn't get the cutout I think I'm going to buy some restriction plates to see how much it tones it down they cost like 27 dlls on ebay, I rather spend 27 dlls than 300 dlls on the cutouts. I'll see how much it tones it down and may be I'll just get a cold sound like the corvette when in sport mode and leave it like that, or if it tones it down to much may be I'll think about the cutout but I rather spend the cutout money on something else.

I installed the Ford Racing quad exhaust with stock mufflers in part after hearing this clip. Found it to be too loud as installed so I added the 5/8" Boss baffles. Sounds just right, may open them up to 3/4" for just a bit more volume. Was thinking of the QTP cut-outs as well but my car is lowered and the side pipe flanges scrape on large speed bumps. Just as an FYI absolutely no drone.

This exhaust sounds so damn good!! I would like it even more if you could get a little bit of a deeper tone, but even as is they are one of my favorites and will definitely be in consideration when i get my 2016.

Any suggestions on which axle back would pair well with the side exhaust? Maybe something that could give it that deeper tone, or would the loudness just overpower an AB?

I installed this x-pipe and side exhaust on my 2015 ROUSH Mustang.. Made some sound clip videos of it this past weekend. See below.

DogBreath or silver.gt--do either of you have sound clips with the baffles in place?

I love the sound of the side exhaust, I'm just paranoid that the volume increase would be too much when added to my S-Type...
