Finally a decent clip of the side exhaust, thank you OP! Is this with the stock mufflers? It sounds really good, but insanely loud. I'm considering swapping out the X-pipe from my Borla S-type for this, but I'm afraid it might be too loud for me.

Still, I love that sound!

I'm thinking electric cutouts would be a better solution since you can't even see the side exits. If MMD releases their side exit exhaust that they showcased on the SEMA car, I will def be getting it.

I have a cai it had made the stock exhaust a bit louder, since I added the side exhaust the stock mufflers are loud plus add to that the pre mufflers side exits that's why it that loud.
At cold star its loud as hell as you can imagine, driving around the exhaust sound is always present at all speeds and it's especially loud at take off, cursing around it does not drive you that crazy really. Driving on the highway at 70 80 it's not that bad like I said it's always present but not that loud, (I have had mud tires that make more noise then this) as for drove I don't consider it to drone, but like I said the thing is that exhaust is always present, also maybe we don't consider drone to be the same thing.
I do like the sound the only bad thing is that it's not an H pipe so it that gets a little raspy at high rpm.
Like I said call me crazy but to me compering the videos it sound kind of like the gt350 but a bit less because that motor is bigger.
All in all I'm 28 I'm picky with noise inside the car and the noise has yet to annoy me, the only thing I have nothing is that when cold it kind of rattles I think may be the side exits are becoming a little lose I try to tight them up.

From your experience is the side exhaust worth 1000$?

I wanted to go with Ford racing sport axle backs and
And ford racing x pipe but I'm thinkin of going with boss side exhaust and ford racing sport axles but not sure if the sound is worth it

I have the Boss side exhaust on my 12. Love it but when/if I get a new GT I will choose something differt. Mine is an H pipe and it did deepen the sound I have with muffler deletes.

Man that is loud for stocks, I had the boss side exhaust with hush power on my 2011 and they weren't that loud,but yours sound good.

I think what makes it so loud is that's an X pipe if it would be an H pipe I think it wouldn't be so loud and sound deep, I would of had perfered it to be H even try to have one custom made but it was going to be hard to make because of the tight fit I guess that's why for made made it an X instead of H, and plus I have head the side exits scratch the ground like 2 time going over bumps and a very steep ramps and I have not lowered my car I think if I had gone custom may be it would scratch more often.
Is it worth it well I think it is because my car has a unique sound, that I think not many mustangs are going to sound like in my area and that's what I'm looking for when modding for my cars to be different then the other mustang, and also I do love the sound I think it sound angry when I get on it.
I might buy the QTP boss cut out for the 2012 the only bad thing is that they cost 340 and I have to see if they fit, but if they do I will have the best of both worlds, quiet as stock when close and crazy loud when open.
