The prize car is AT right? Then I'd have to sell it on the spot, say for $50k. With taxes around $25k, I'd net $25k in my pocket, which would be enough for a V6. Yeah, that's the plan.

Or why just not pay the 25k and have supercharged v8. Better than a v6 even with all the body work done :cheers:

If I buy a mustang out of my pocket (not a prize car), I will have hard time justifying a v8 to myself. Don't get me wrong, I do like v8. But don't like the higher costs associated with it. Also, I keep telling myself that a v6 will have enough power for me (maybe this will change haha).

If the prize car were a MT, then I would definitely keep it. As you said, paying $25k for a supercharged b8 with all the body work done would be a great deal :cheers:

Just curious, for this very prize car, after 3 years (say with 30k miles on it), what kind of resale value we are talking about?

Hope someone on this forum will win this car. Then we can really talk about it :lol:
