Same here. Seen this happen so many times with bikes. But this is just soooooooo sad.

I have been on two wheels while on the track out of four wheels. :cheers: Wide open...70mph.. 1.5mi were on track while the rest was cross country 12 mi total course - OK Gold Rush Iron man race...I was younger then...lol.

Where I attended the 3-day Skip Barber School. I guess I'll have to go back!

One of the instructors for the HART school did the goldrush a few times. My dad is the lead instructor and whenever school doesn't get in the way I try and make it and help them out as much as possible. That Goldrush thing is crazy though.

It is an utterly brutal race. The attrition is crazy. No way I could do it now.
