Hey guys, I just received my CP-e OEcharge™ Pipe & Exhale™ Tial BOV Kit last Friday and got them installed, so I wanted to write a review to let you guys know about another great option for charge pipes that has just been released.

CP-e OEcharge™ Pipe & Exhale™ Tial BOV Kit details:

As with every CP-e product, these charge pipes are indeed some of the nicest available on the market right now. From the quality of the pipes and their special coatings to even the small details and features, CP-e has knocked it out of the ballpark with their charge pipe kits and available options.

Although I have the OEcharge™ Pipe and Exhale™ Tial BOV Kit, the review will generally be the same for the other options available as well. So, let's take a look at these charge pipes.

-OEcharge™ Pipe

This pipe is a mandrel bent aluminum pipe that's super light and has beautiful welds. It's a huge upgrade over the stock hot side pipe and really makes good use out of the extra space from the stock pipe in being 2.5".

This pipe is compatible with either the stock BPV or any stock fitment replacement BOV/BPV. It also comes with the cap and plug, so when/if you upgrade to one of their Exhale™ BOV kits, you can easily remove and block off the factory setup.

On CP-e's website, this pipe is available in red or black, but other color options will be available through CP-c (see Extra Details below).

As with other CP-e products, this pipe also comes with all the necessary hardware that you'll need for a nice, clean install. The hose clamps are a t-bolt setup (the best style of clamps) and 4-ply silicone couplers. This setup is build to last, made in the USA, and has a LIFETIME warranty.

-Exhale™ Tial BOV Kit

This pipe is a mandrel bent aluminum pipe that's super light, has beautiful welds, has integrated meth bungs, and places the BOV on the cold side piping. Like the hot side pipe, the Exhale™ Tial BOV Kit is a great upgrade over the stock cold pipe. It's a 2.75" diameter pipe which is large, but still fits extremely well with both stock and aftermarket intake systems.

The pipe comes with the Tial flange welded on and ready to be installed. The Tial valve itself sounds amazing and not only gives a better sound, but also has much better response than the factory electric valve would ever have had.

A big selling point for me was also the addition of the two meth bungs. I plan to install my meth kit in the very near future, so having them already welded on and ready to go was a super nice feature that CP-e has once again thought to install.

Another huge selling point for me was also the addition of a MAP sensor adapter whereby you can access a vacuum/boost reference source without having to cut vacuum lines. Cutting vacuum lines isn't a big deal per se, but being able to return back to stock without any trace of modification(s) is always a nice option to have.

As mentioned above, this pipe also comes with all the necessary hardware that you'll need for a nice, clean install. The hose clamps are a t-bolt setup (the best style of clamps) and 4-ply silicone couplers. It even has the necessary fittings and vacuum lines for BOV, so there should be no trips to the part stores for anything. Again, this setup is build to last, made in the USA, and has a LIFETIME warranty.

It's also worth mentioning that the Tial BOV comes in a variety of different colors. Like the OEcharge™ Pipe, this charge pipe comes in color options of red or black, but other color options will be available through CP-c (see Extra Details below).

Driving Impressions:

Dat Tial BOV sound doe! Okay, on a real note, the driving experience is improved noticeably. The throttle response feels sharper and more consistent and I can't begin to tell you how great it feels to have a mechanical BOV again! I had gotten acclimated to the electronic (factory) BPV and generally didn't pay it any mind, but I noticed a good difference after installing the Tial. It just works the way that it should and the sound is amazing. My gas mileage has went down the drain because I've figured out how to modulate the throttle just right to make the greatest fluttering noise I've heard yet, lol. Plus, there's also the fact that the hissing under load while traveling is gone. Overall, I'm very pleased with both the charge pipes and this Tial valve.

Extra Details:

I wanted to mention this as it's a pretty sweet option to have if you want different color pipes. CP-c (Custom Performance Coating) does a variety of coatings: powder coating, ceramic coating, chrome plating, anodizing, shot peening, hydro dipping, etc. So, with that said, if there's a special color or coating that you'd want, chances are your bases will be covered with the options that they have available.

It's also worth mentioning again that the attention to detail that CP-e places in their products in second to none. They always strive to engineer their products to be a one-stop solution that you won't need to re-upgrade again in the future. I love that because that means that I can buy once and forget about having to worry about modifying my setup or upgrading again in the future (minus going to a big turbo that's not in the stock location).

Customer Service details:

As it has been in all of my dealings with CP-e thus far, customer service is on point. Whoosh is always around and replies consistently in a very timely manner. He's always been patient and has answered every question I've had. I have zero complaints and would recommend both him and CP-e to anyone. I also met the CEO of CP-e recently and he too was very nice, super down to earth, and very accommodating. He hooked us up with some Gatorade on a hot day when I felt like I could have used 5 gallons of the stuff, so he's good people in my book along with whoosh. :headbang:

Installation details:

Installation of the pipes was super easy and is shown here in my how-to thread that I posted earlier this evening. Even a novice could easily install both pipes and necessary fittings, lines, etc., in a hour or so. Again, it was super easy (even with hand tools).

Well put together review. When are you adding @cp-e.com to your name?? Reads a bit like an advertisement, but it's all good, just giving you a hard time.

the pipes look great!
thanks for the kind words Juben
cp-e usually isn't first to market with some products and certainly isn't always the cheapest option but we do take pride in the design and manufacturing of what we offer to our customers

I told my wife earlier I want the same look but in competition orange. She accused me of trying to replicate my Comp Orange 04 Cobra that had color matched valve covers, but they looked amazing.

that's retail
we are selling them for much less and selling quite well my man

with the discount we're offering, the intercooler pipes are in line with all other USA made intercooler pipes w/o a Tial or HKS valve included in the price

option 5 which is the hot side pipe w/o OEM flange is also going to drop the price down considerably and I'm sure I can make a set up worth looking at for you from a pricing perspective NewSVO

option 5 is being added to the site as we speak - hang in there!

let me know
and thanks for posting up!
