I've encouraged friends of mine to drive my new car. They — both men and women — loved it! Some of them hadn't driven a stick in a long while, and were pleasantly surprised at how tractable it was after I instructed them to gently let the clutch out from a stop sans throttle; with torque like this, who needs an automatic? Most of them had never driven a car this powerful, and it was fun to watch their eyes widen on their first take off, even after being verbally prepped about the big-hearted Coyote's generous power output.

So go ahead, have your friends try your car out... You'd have to fight to get your keys back, were it not for the keyless go!

Nope, not without having enough cash in hand to take care of repairing our replacing my car if they should wreck it or blow it up.

My wife hasn't even been let drive my car yet.

I let me wife and my daughter drive my car. I love it but it's still just a car. I've had others in the past and I'll have more in the future.

I let any friends drive my car, will often encourage mustang buddies to drive it to get a feel for certain mods. Anyone too stuck up to let others drive their car will get no help from me should they ever need it.

My wife drives my gt pp whenever she wants to. She loves driving it. I also let my buddy take it out for a drive and beat on it a bit. It's just a mustang and they would be hard pressed to drive it any harder than I do.

Nope nope nope nope nope! I know one or two people whom I would let drive my car. Anyone else I could see smoking the clutch, rear-ending someone, etc. The car isn't THAT big of a deal, but something like that is likely to put strain on any relationship, so I just avoid it. I'd loan just about anything to anyone, but nobody drives my car unless it's an emergency.

Ah, I see the problem... it's the “young man” bit, heh heh. All my friends who've driven mine are about a decade past “young man”. They'd protest that they still get carded, though
