Flowmaster Resonator-Delete Kit V6

Hi,

This is the first X pipe that i saw in the aftermarket for V6. Does anyone have any experience with flow master X pipes ? Or is there other brand that i can consider??

BBK should have their respective X-pipes for the V6's out soon. I want to hear from users first if it makes it 'too loud' or Drones at all. I have Roush axlebacks and they were Loud (Still are when you punch it) but, they have since broken in and sound very nice and low now.

Same here, i have my Roush AB on, but after drive for a while, kind of want something more aggressive.

Have you done long tube headers w/ Adding High-Flow CATS? I am thinking of doing that. If/when I do, I would want to wrap them in Manifold/exhaust wrap before I install them.

would you prefer long tube headers or short tube one ??, yeah that sound awesome.

i heard many saying that Roush AB with BBK shorty Headers sound the best, but i agree with you. Performance wise ,i might go for long tube.

Ceramics cost more but will hold a lower temperature. That's why I plan to wrap the chrome ones in Exhaust-manifold heat wrap.

thats actually a smart idea. I saw u had your throttle body spacer and the BBK throttle body. Does it work well together ??

Yeah, works fine together. I contacted BBK before ordering the Throttle body and they confirmed that the 73mm size would not be an issue. They said it shouldn't affect it at all.
I am going to take my dremmel tool and 'bore' each groove of the spacer to widen and hopefully match the 73mm throttle body. I'll create a post with pictures when I have time to do this.

i see, because i ordered them last week and I'm going to install them together with airarid intake tomorrow, just hope everything will fit well together

Watch this link. This guy has a 2015 V6 w/ a (Shop made) X-pipe w/ Roush Axlebacks!
Sounds legit!!! Deeper sound overall w/ a sick 'bat outta Hell' mean acceleration!!

Thoughts?

Like you said previously, the BBK throttle body, spacer and intake did fit in my car eventually, it was a bit tight tho. However, still manage to get everything done. And that was a great video, but does the brand that manufactor x pipe matters ?? i meant if i order the flow master resonator delete kit, will i have the same aggressive sound as in the video .

I would imagine it wouldn't be that much different sounding if you had a shop build you an X-pipe, as long as it's mandrel bent steel tubing. But, Flowmaster makes quality products and the welds on their products will be second to none.
