Hi im fairly new, to site, does anyone know how I can get in touch with ford rep here on site. I posted last week in transmission section that I lost my reverse in my automatic 2015 ecoboost mustang. So far I had to wait a week for dealer to even have time to look at car. Only to have them say friday they needed to order some wire that will be in today. Now I got a call saying they need to order a valve for transmission that is on national backorder with no estimate time of availability. They have no clue when my car can be fixed and returned to me.
Im curious to how many failing transmissions are out there. Im extremely frustrated, car only has 1200 miles. I think I read that here in pa if im without my car for 30 days I can lemon law it. If ford rep reads this send me info on how to contact you. Maybe you can give me eta of part thats on backorder.

I know if its in to shop for same problem 3 times I can lemon law it also. I know its early yet, but the national backorder part is not sounding good. There already racking up the 30 days of shop time already.

Im so happy my car now gets to sit on the smallest spaced, most crowded dealer around for miles, in an area with most scumbags per mile flinging there car doors into my car, scratching and denting my paint for weeks. Sorry estimate time not available. Sorry for my ranting, im more mad about whats going to happen to my car the longer it sits there, then the actual warranty work being done.

Quick update, Deysha has connected me with a customer care specialist who is going to try and get me part that is on back order quicker. She said maybe ford can pull part from assembly line for me or something. I have my fingers crossed she can come through for me. I really dont want to be without car for a month or longer. I definitely dont look forward to hassle of having to try get ford to replace my car if my mustang is still out of commission next month. Id like to thank Deysha again for the help, and hopefully next update is good news.

New update. I was told getting part I need was a no go due to a engineering change or something like that and part is still back ordered with no eta. There going to try and get me a complete new transmission, instead of a part it needs. Customer service asked to give them another week. To let me know if new transmission is a possible. At this point I'm not going to hold my breath. I know there doing there best, but I'm at point now that I think I'm going to lemon law it, and ask ford for replacement mustang. PA lemon law is 30 days in garage. I've been unable to drive my car since July 4 and it's looking like I won't have it back till August sometime hopefully.

Got surprise phone call from dealer today. Car is back home with new transmission. Dealer said they never seen this before so I can't really say what actually happened. My guess is it has to have something with the drive modes, since mine is premium and I use nothing but sport plus. Who knows, all I know is customer support said I couldn't get part because of engineering change. So maybe they changed something with transmission in the 2016's already. My paper work says they programed new strategy to pcm also. All I know I'm glad it's back.
