Really? not sure how you've got that when build dates haven't been assigned yet. Are you a UCL winner? I've heard nothing from dealer. If you have a VIN then you can track in Cotus

Dealer had 7 cars with a VIN. I'm going through John Grose Ipswich. I am a UCL winner.

Can't track the VIN on cotus but it works on etis.

Give your dealer a call, oh and just out of interest, who has order No: E0001?

If that's the case I'm a close 2nd! Just wondered if the order numbers had any reference to names on a list.

I.e was I 2nd to register as my order number is E0002

If the UCL winners list started in June 2014 then I would say Stevec has to be No.1 or at least very close to it because he put his name down April 2014 iirc.

True, working on the basis that his dealer informed ford corporate straight away and not held on to his cash for a few months.

this was just general interest, don't want to get in to a game of order number top trumps! :)

I don't have VIN number but then again, I didn't ask. More impotently I saw an official Ford screen page showing a production date of 3rd August

I gather 3rd August is when the MY16 run starts. So not sure if 3rd August relates to the build of actual RHD cars or just the start of MY16 production. If it relates to UK car builds, we could be seeing them at the end of Sept. Better get our wallets out!

I'm not sure if MY16 cars will be any different either? Apparently, MY15 stops on the Friday (31st Jul) and MY16 begins on the Monday, so its probably just they way they classify them for marketing purposes.

Sure I saw in a thread elsewhere that it was 12 weeks between leaving the production line and hitting the dealer, which fits in quite well with a late October/November delivery.

MY16 cars for the US market will have changes. Don't know about EU or the RHD markets.

EDIT: our cars will be the first RHD 6g Mustangs produced at Flat Rock. Anyone else a bit nervous?

Yeh, you're not wrong! I keep trying to stop thinking about it and tell myself to stop going on this forum but every day, about 5 times a day, I come on here and check out the UK section. Its driving me nuts.

YES! - but trying not to think about it. Same with the wonky rear windows.

They've made some RHD prototypes (pics on this forum somewhere) and I assume they've done a few pre production cars, which might have gone down the line? So, hopefully there's a bit of effort gone in? You can't get away from the fact that it's their first effort though so there may be a few extra rattles and squeaks!

Cant say that it worries me at all, I just love the fact that I am going to get a car from the first batch of RHD Mustangs ever produced.

Ford have bee building LHD and RHD cars for years, I am sure they can manage at Flat Rock

Also with John Grose - have they been pushing you to do a finance proposal already?
