This^^^.:clap2: I heard the same. Having two Shelby branded vehicles confuses the crap out of the general public.

So that would make the 2015 GT350's and the R's thereafter highly sought after. Nice....

And you have to remember... There will be the GT, the Raptor, the RS, the 500 and the 350 all in 2017. That's a lot of high performance vehicles over $30K...

And then the following year will be the anniversary of the GT500KR and then who says Ford hasn't been tinkering on an AC Cobra redo?

Very true. While we will probably see the GT500 in '17 I imagine it will be an '18 MY.

Idk, man. Word on the street with the 350 was that it would be a 2016 MY car and then the 137 2015 MY number came out.

Ford may do the same thing to honor the 500. I don't see why they wouldn't.

They made 11,000 first year GT500s for the previous generation, highly unlikely that they would hold the build to 137 units when many thousands could be sold. The handful of '15 GT350s is obviously a fluke and the automotive equivalent of and after thought.

Ummmm.no, the 137 for 2015 was planned far in advance and is not a "fluke".

Haha. You would realize it's not a fluke if you understood the planning and logistics that go into building these vehicles.

This first batch of '15s, 137 of or whatever is nothing more than a '16 that will be titled as a '15. This doesn't require years of "planning" as some here may believe.

Except for....

Certifying the car for 2015 testing regulations

SAE certifying the engine

Etc etc

It is a fairly big deal and was done for 2 reasons

50th Anniversary of the GT350 and to get it to squeak by IMSA regulations

Understand but in reality a very nominal effort for one of the worlds largest corporations.
