I'm sure we could sort out a Scottish Mustang meet - I notice that Evans Halshaw, Glasgow have a facebook Scottish Mustang page (smart lads using that as a hook) not that the info is anything like up to date but at least they are trying something.

I'm in Prestwick and hopefully getting a DIB Ecoboost this year (Not CL but assured delivery this year - fingers crossed). I know that there is at least one Loon (or thereabouts) on the forum and an Auld Reekie area chap as well so I'm sure it would be an idea to try and get something done up here. :clap2:

More than welcome mate I love Englanders, couldn't eat a whole one though ;). Scotland's new 'Route 66' is an awesome road, driven most of it at one time or another, so a big 'ol snake of 'Stangs cruising through it will be cool, English, French, German whatever, heck I'd even invite an American :lol:

without a doubt, I will be doing the NC500, be rude not to ;) even though it's a 540 mile trip just to get to Inverness for me, it's got to be done...
This may be ambitious but here's what I'm thinking; between us, commit to a week or 2 in say spring 2016 (I will need a whole week to cover it!) and get as many people up there as poss during that period - imagine just randomly seeing/meeting other Mustang owners whilst cruising around the NC500...
Winter this year simply wouldn't work, mainly because of the weather but also we don't know how many of us will have cars.
If we can get the word our now then there is a good chance we could get some decent numbers up there...
But other than that, definitely up for a new year meet in somewhere like the midlands? Maybe someone can start a poll about dates people are available? That will be the hardest thing, may as well start now!

^This sounds like an idea. As I'm picking my Stang up from Inverness I considered doing this route from collection lol but will likely be the wrong time of year and as I dont know when I'm getting the car exactly will be tricky to plan.

Yea, could be big I think...maybe even this time next year - give the others in the "second batch" a chance too my mind is flowing with ideas now...I will get a new thread together & get the ball rolling...

Won't be getting mine until late July/August 16 (ordered and deposit placed in May). However, if this were to happen earlier, I'd relish the chance to put my Nismo up against the Mustang on some of the sweetest roads in the UK.

Hopefully I won't change my mind :lol:.

The 'Stang is being bought for a host of different reasons, 2+2, 418HP and many more.

Be careful of the A9, full of cameras now, my Mrs got caught last year, 76 in a 60 (she says that the car "makes you drive fast"), I wasn't with her, I was in the 'Stan at the time in an entirely different vehicle ;).

A week is a sensible time frame for a tour of the Highlands.

Late April / early May has a good weather record up our way and coincides with bank holiday weekend for those needing time off work - or last weekend in May which is Whit Week in Englandshire so another holiday Monday. Let's see what Kristian comes up with and I'm sure we'll be able to plug in to some or all parts of his journey.
