So if I understand you correctly it's one of two options?

or

right?

How does this apply to the Recaro seat option? I'd prefer the Recaro Seat option.

you can select the recaro seats, but they don't get you the premier trim -- only thing that changes is with redline you get red stitching versus the red seating surfaces. There are lots of pictures of redline recaros with red door inserts, and some cars have actually shipped that way, but the door inserts with recaros are *I believe* meant to come with the red stitching too -- if you have redline with recaros, but got your car with the red inserts, I think Ford has been "correcting" the issue for customers who request it. Oh -- and you can't get ceramic or saddle with 68b... And you happen to also not be able to get recaros in anything but ebony or redline leather -- or if you have a base car, in ebony cloth...

How ridiculously expensive would it be to swap out all the pieces affected? haha seats, door panels, dash?

A set of Recaros from Ford Performance is 2999 alone. Check Late Model Restoration.

I hope GT350 spec Recaro's become available -- they look like the best of both worlds -- hopefully more supportive than the current Recaro offerings, and hopefully save a few pounds over the standard seats. Although, I have to say I really think the standard seats are great -- I do wish they were manual adjust though. It's annoying waiting for the electric motor to move the seat...

So it looks like the only difference is the infotainment and the gauges?

I like the s550 interiors, though I would like more options for a shifter and knob.

The infotainment actually hasn't changed, the press pictures just show Apple Car Play activated on Sync3.

Other changes include:

- New materials for doorpanels, instrument panel and tunnel console
- Knee patches on the center console
- Bling trim around shifter and cupholders is now matt aluminum colored
- New seat upholstery
- Heated steering wheel with better quality leather
- Steering wheels switches swapped left and right (audio now left side)
- Mustang plaque on the right dash brow redesigned
- Pony logo on the windshield instead of Ford logo
- Available red leather Recaro's

Some of these things will be optional. All'n'all very nice uogrades.

I also read that they made some changes to the 6 speed manual, with a new twin-disc clutch and dual-mass flywheel (per motortrend). I don't know what kind of difference that will make but I'm interested to drive one for sure
