For those of you that have GT Performance Packages and superchargers, have you ever looked into replacing the factory vacuum gauge with an Ecoboost Performance Package vacuum/boost gauge? Anyone know how much boost the Ecoboost PP gauge can read? Is it a straight-across swap?

I'm wanting to supercharge my car fairly soon after it arrives and thought the EB PP boost gauge would be a great way of getting an OEM-looking boost gauge in the car. I've looked at the Ford Parts catalog, it seems like the part can be ordered. Just curious if anyone else has had the same idea.

Great question! I am pretty sure it would work, but not 100% sure. I would like to do the same if I ever go boosted too. I love the factory look to things.

I think someone asked this a month ago. And the short answer was no. The way the ecoboost gets its signal is completely different. At least that is what I remember reading.

I'm sure this gauge can be modified to pull off a vac line.

I asked them directly if they have actually done this swap. They do not allow any returns on electrical items.

Ecoboost gets its data from map. GT measures from a vac block

This would be ideal! But until I see a working example I can't pull the trigger. Almost to good to be true.
