Updated price list - 11th May 2015

I have just seen a new price list on the Ford UK website, dated today, but at a quick glance I don't see any changes to the one dated 1st May.

Apart from being titled MY 2016.

Prices of the cars are still pre the VED increase back in April.

If my company were guilty of putting out this amount of disinformation and incorrect specs, I'd have the whole dept fired.

Still no more information about what's included in the "Custom Pack" though. I hate the chrome accents that come with it but, does anyone know yet if it includes a more premium interior?

I see no reason to believe the custom pack involves anything other than audio/nav upgrade, seats upgrade, parking sensors, chrome and wheels.

Never heard anything about different levels of trim.

I've heard rumours of it. If you also check out the France configurator here: http://m.ford.fr/Configurateur/Vehicule-Particulier/ford-mustang there's the standard leather interiors that are on our UK configurator, but there's also a premium one which looks nicer.

Could be like the optional Recaros, ie not an option in the UK.

We're their biggest market in Europe but we're getting fewest options it seems. Presumably after the CL cars lock in date we can't expect any further options?

But we are RHD which seems to be viewed upon as the devils work.

I am at home and compared the 1st May and 11th May price lists on a big screen; there is another change to them... the silver "stripes" on the red car shown are different. On the 1st May, they are solid all the way to the rear of the boot lid and continued over the rear bumper. The 11th May shows the stripes "fading" to the rear of the boot lid, and they don't continue over the rear bumper.

Any pics of exactly how far back the "black roof" goes?

I wonder if other European countries have had/are having the same issues we're having over here as regards specs/options/build and delivery dates?

I also wonder what the rationale is behind only making certain things available in certain countries? The Recaros I can maybe understand as that may be an airbag/LHD vs RHD issue, but things like trim levels etc only being available in certain countries? Surely that's harder to work than making it available to all?

Considering they all come out of the same factory, it does seem strange. Especially as there would be more money to be made as extra options.

This price list (attached)? It seems to have continuous stripes, though I do remember seeing fading ones somewhere...don't tell me there are two 11/5 price lists in circulation...

It would be fortuitous certainly however this is what will happen in time I believe. Ford will make more options available depending on sales figures. I think that'll come too late for everyone currently on this forum.

There will likely be an economic or regulatory reason behind every change. Apparently there will be no stop/start either. Less technology for the purchase price though not sure that's a bad thing from the driving perspective.

All in all, it does blow rather a large hole in Ford's "Global" Mustang vision. It's clearly not possible to deliver one car to a global market, at least not without making it less appealing to their core customer - the US.

Apparently there will be no stop/start either. Less technology for the purchase price though not sure that's a bad thing from the driving perspective.

I didn't realise the US versions had that anyway. I've not seen it mentioned in any reviews or anywhere for that matter. Like you said, no bad thing though. That would be something for my autoelectrician to permanently deactivate when he reactivates the gill DRLs.
