Anybody heard anything about Ford's finance options yet?

My dealer has said he is hoping to get this information sometime this month. Even he is getting frustrated at the lack of information Ford is passing on to him.

Without knowing this I still don't know whether I will be getting my dream at the end of the year because unfortunately I do have to be sensible some where and draw the line at paying silly amounts each month :(

Already have a thread on this with not much response, anyways I've been told the start of May from the Ford team and then Q3 from a ford dealer. I'm in the same boat as you I want to place an order but without knowing the monthly on it I won't be doing it.

Ah sorry about that. Just seen your thread but when I saw the title I thought you were talking about options as in additions to the car.

See I put a refundable deposit down back in September and was in a good position to do that. Unfortunately a few things haven't gone right this year and now I am hoping I can still afford my dream......staying positive!!

Find a local credit union. Much better rates and customer service imo.

The finance on a Nissan 370Z might give a slightly rough idea on what the V8 Mustang's could be as they're similar in price: http://www.nissan-offers.co.uk/new-vehicles/370z

37 x £370 Monthly payments, roughly £9,000 Deposit, £12,658 Final payment
It's all down to the GMFV guaranteed minimum future value, I think that's why Ford ate taking such a long time to get the offers out. I'm actually a sales man for Toyota wish I was for Ford now to try and get more info haha

I asked my dealer about this today, and of course - they haven't had anything from ford yet. He says they usually get this last minute...
I used the mondeo on the ford uk website & added options to get close to the cost of my stang, pretty much the same as the nissan example;
£9k deposit, £12.5k final payment, £370 ish a month.
You watch - all the info will come at once; finalising orders, delivery dates, finance options, uk test drives - I think I will pass out from sheer excitement lol

I asked my contact at Ford and he said they are waiting for residual values to come through but it will be soon.
He did say that the feedback they are getting is the residuals are going to be very good and must valuers thing the car has been under priced for the UK/ This could very very good news for financing the car.

Are you working that out on the GT because if your getting £370 a month with 9k down that sounds like it's on a Hire purchase aggrement. I work for Toyota and 9k down on a 28k GT86 would come out in the low £300 range, would have to work it out tomorrow.

Hopefully the residuals are good which I would expect them to be on the mustang, I hope its not long now any indication when your dealer thinks it will be confirmed.
