I noticed those on their website. I'm going to go with the new Progressive Steeda springs that get released next week.

hmmm I don't have harsh roads around here, I don't DD my car either, I do however like to cut up the twisties and MIGHT end up taking on a road course at some point. I was planning on the Pro-kit again because I liked how they TOTALLY got rid of that nose up when launching with a sticky tire.. all of that wasted energy in the suspension just gone. I don't like the lack of rake with them on the S550. Has anyone bought/installed these yet and if so how is the ride and weight transfer with them? Since I noticed someone stated these are essentially sportline fronts and pro-kit rears I wonder how much different they would be as far as weight transfer.

Stay away from progressive springs if you push the cars handling limits. If all you care about is looks and you aren't likely to ever push the car around a corner they are ok sort of. Make sure that the springs are linear, dead coils are ok. Dead coils or inactive coils are coils that are already bottomed out at normal ride height are ok they only act to keep the spring in place when the wheel is unloaded. A progressive coil is still active but can become inactive so quickly as to cause shock loads to the tires these loads cause the tires to break free and the car to slide. You don't want loads to increase on the tires that way.

Is there a definite answer on these, are they linear?

These are obviously progressive rate springs..... and the stock springs are linear which we've known for some time now.

From TiE200
CJ Answer -

"For those that want spring rates. Fronts are 215-330 lbs/in Rears are 800-914 lbs/in. Stock is 160 and 668 respectively"

Thanks! Read through it and I still don't know wtf springs I want lol. I drive the car on the street, there is no drag strip, I do the occasional street/hwy race, I love to cut up the curves though and I would like to maybe take this car to an auto cross event or two MAYBE but its possible that I wont. I don't drive the car daily, and I don't mind a stiff but TIGHT suspension that will hug the corners.. but I don't want to be bouncing around like I am riding around in a low rider mini truck that has zero suspension either.. recommendations?

You could go either direction, a good street linear set of springs arn't going to bounce you around like you're on a wooden roller coaster, but you are going to feel the bumps in the road. A lot of high end sports car come equiped with street Linear springs.

If your main thing is crusing, like me. You may want a little more comfert in your ride, getting the same look, so I choose these progressive springs. Granted I may have jumped the gun, but CJ offered exactly what I was looking for before Steeda released theirs, and I had a short window to order (Wife said yes)

Ya I saw the new Steeda's for sale today finally and I like how the car looks afterwards but $279 for the set, so I cant say that I'm really a fan vs the price of these or $229 for the Pro-kit.
