I test drove a new 2014 Roush stage 3. Beautiful car and the sound and power were incredible. The same dealership has a 2013 Shelby with only 7k miles on it. Always wanted a Shelby and my wife likes the interior. Finally, I love the 2015. Was thinking of getting one and adding the Roush supercharger and exhaust. All three cars come in at 50k give or take. What are your thoughts?

I would get the gt500. It doesnt seems like the roush cars hold there well at all.

The 2015 RS3 is about 60k. And I'd love the new gt350, but who know how long I'd have to wait for one.

I have a 2015 premium GT with the Roush supercharger installed and love it.

50k? Get a GT and add a blower. More car for less money.
correct answer. New platform is MILES above the old one. Interior is not in the same league.

Roush's dont hold their value for shit. I was at OC Welch Ford a week ago and they had a V6 roush. I'm not dissing V6 fans, but a V6 Roush donning the same kit they put on GT's doesnt seem right to me.

And if you do get the GT, get the premium, preferably 401A, and def look for the premier trim interior package (or 50th Anniversary Appearance package) for the oft touch interior. Money well spent.

I had this same issue for about 6 months. I was looking at a 2014 GT500 that had about 1400 miles. A 2013 CPO M3 that has 1100 miles or place my order on 5/20 for a 2015 GT PP fully loaded.

I new I loved the body style of the '15 better than both of those cars as I attended the 50th Anniversary show in Charlotte.

It came down to power and options. I went with a new GT PP. My car stickered for $46k. I don't regret my decision one bit. The '15 GT PP is everything and more that I had envisioned. I am 80% handling guy vs. 20% drag racing. This what influenced my decision. The Torsen is just beautiful and perfect at how you can put the power down thru turns and keep the gas mashed and the car just goes. I will be adding springs, front and rear swar bars and IRS cradle bushings along with 19x10/19x11 light weight wheels and much wider rubber. The car will then be perfect in my eyes from a handling standpoint.

I can also add a SC kit and get an easy 6xx RWHP/5xxRWTQ without stressing the internals that much. Keep it on lower boost (8-10lbs). The car will be stupid fast and handle fantastic.

Get the latest look that is available.

Roush should be out of the equation unless you are a fanatic of that name.

GT500 is great but it is still considered last years model and it will leave a void every time you pass by the latest look.
