Why would ford put the stock bpv on the hotside charge pipe and run it in recirculation? Seems with the cooling/heatsoak issues with the eb the last thing you need to be doing is taking the boosted air at its hottest point and shoving it into the intake at shifts. Is there a benefit of the hotside vs cold?

I don't think it'd recalculate enough air to make a significant difference in the charge air temps. If it's a concern, just cap the intake port and VTA.

With the factory intercooler being so insufficient it wouldn't matter if they put it on the hot side or the cold side. With the factory setup its all "the hot side" haha.

You can use the furniture chair feet from Lowe's too. I had to use them in a pinch because I may or may not have forgotten and left the supplied cap off. The port on the JLT is around an 1" wide, so get the 1"-1-1/4" cap if you do it. They were about $3 and provided a very secure, snug grip.
