Would it be possible to get a list of all the exhausts and their power gains?

Correct, put the exhaust on, went to the dyno with no tune. Car made the supplied numbers above, then was moved directly back to the bay where SC install began. Only tune for the car was the Roush tune.

Yes. Total of 6 dyno runs. 371 stock, 400 with exhaust, 535 with exhaust, SC, Roush tune all RWHP. two runs for each setting with all numbers very consistent (within a HP or 2 for each step.).

Both high quality, don't think you can go wrong with either. I'm sure the numbers will be about even. I actually think the Kooks are a tad cheaper, or at least they were when I was shopping. They both resemble jewelry to someone like me!

I saw a video a little while ago from CJPP's and their car has basically the same mods and they got either 560-570 to the rear wheels. Of course, different dyno, different operator, different weather, different tires, etc.

I'm most happy with the exhaust, nice power gain and the sound is intoxicating!

Yes i saw that video and like u said different dyno and day.To give u an example my car dynoed 385 on rev autos dynojet and when i had my tune done this week it dynoed around 365 hp.Both dynojets and both sae corrected.Only difference was temp which was 60 this week and around 30 when i was at rev auto.I bet at the track with tires u run real close to the same time as the car that put done the 550,as long as u bang them gears real fast lol.My bad the car that put down 560.

So I'm getting some mixed msgs or just interpreting it wrong? I thought everyone was saying here that you won't get much gains from an exhaust alone, but guard 5.0 went from 371 stock to 400 with exhaust alone and no headers/tune yet? or exhaust + headers got you to 400.

535 with exhaust + sc? is that supercharger??

and i know this is stupid question but what is 371 stock. 371 hp? i thought we're supposed to be getting 435 whp?

He is getting 371 HP at the wheels. It's 435 at the crank with about 15% drivetrain loss we get around 370 at the wheels on the dyno. And considering he got his dyno numbers on different days you can't put to much faith in those number to many variables. From what I learned a catback is only for sound and wieght loss.

As long as he used the same dyno you can have faith in those numbers. Yes dynoing back to back would be the best way to test gains, but in the most extreme circumstances you it won't cause a loss, or in the case, a gain of 30whp.

Nope. If you're comparing to the 435 crank hp you can multiply the 535 rwhp times 15% to get 615hp which is obviously a ballpark figure. Likely somewhere between 600 and 630 crank hp at the time of the dyno run.

nice. thanks guys. i feel stupid now.

so on that note, for someone somewhat on a budget, if I want to get decent power upgrade and change the sound. you'd recommend...

axleback exhaust
headers
cai
tune

no catback necessary? that would save several hundred dollars.
