Something I just noticed on Mustangs and no other Ford vehicles

I think the last time there was a Ford emblem on the mustang was the fox body's and SN95 mustangs.

Correct. We've gone 10-years without a Ford blue oval emblem on the Mustang. I'll be curious if they do this in other countries with the 2015 global release.

The 06-09 didn't have the oval but they did say ford on them. Not sure about the 11-14's

My 06 didn't. Where was it?

My 11 didn't either. My 95 and 91 both did have the blue oval emblem on back. Come to think of it, I'm not sure when they stopped but I know they did before 05.

Edit: they had the blue oval emblem through 04 on back right side of trunk.

Since a Mustang is kinda rare in germany I'm really sure the car will get some really strange looks what kind of vehicle the new Mustang is, since there's just a GT badge on the rear and the pony in the grille :cheers:

In addition to spelling FORD on the faux gas cap, the 05 had Ford logos on the center cap of the wheels; other than that, no other blue ovals or Ford logos.

This is true and one of my first mods on my 05. Replacing them with pony ones.

Nice touch. I wasn't much into modding so my efforts extended no more than replacing the valve-stem caps with mustang "tri-bar" logo caps. Should have thought of looking for replacement caps as well.

The Corvette badges have a Bowtie in them on the right side of the V flags.

Depending in the wheel choice they had the ford center caps. I had the 64w wheels and they came with the tri bar center caps

yes, but the V flags, while incorporating the Bowtie, is unique to the Corvette. I also forgot the Viper. I was racking my brain to remember of Dodge had a car with its own badge.

the Dodge Ram series of trucks carries its own badge, but, not a specific vehicle in the series.

My 14's got Ford spelled out on the faux gas cap, so assuming it was there on 10-13 as well.
