Just so you know it's not "according to me", take a look at this pic, not quite the same angle, but your mirrors are a bit taller... they look cool though!
What I meant is that without you mentioning it I most probably wouldn't have noticed it. TBH I still can't quiet see the difference in size. Maybe you get bigger mirrors if you have BLIS?

yes all export cars get the tow hook, can you bring the car back to the US when you leave dubai?
I can. But seriously why would I wanna import an AMERICAN car into America? I think it would be cheaper to sell it and buy a new one there.

No satellite bump makes for one sleek profile. Enjoy!
Yup, I asked the sales adviser and he said the satellite antenna is located in the front windshield? I dunno what he exactly means TBH.

Congrats!

I wonder why you didn't get the euro style license plate instead of those? They'd look even better!

Is the navigation SD card contains maps for UAE only?
Are you talking about the plate itself or the bracket? I'd be looking to get a different front bracket since this one is bigger than the plate number.

I'm not sure about the navigation, but I assume its only UAE.

I'm talking about the actual license plate. I think Dubai offers both styles the wide one (euro style) and the normal one (US style) if I'm not mistaken.

It's bummer if the SD card loaded with just UAE maps; it makes more sense to have GCC maps.

Yeah they offer both plate numbers, but the bracket that came from the factory takes only the normal one (as shown in the picture). Unless I wanna mount the plate number on the bumper.

Maybe the navigation have the GCC maps, but I doubt it. I won't be needing them anyway.

I didnt know, most jobs let you ship cars back and forth for free if you work overseas. I would not have bought a mustang just to sell it later. I would bring mine home, but I keep my cars for a long time and I get attached lol

I've sent an email off to FordService to see if the rear License plate bracket is available for purchase.

According to the Ford Parts website there is a part number, but no corresponding price, or add to cart option.

Does the part number 17A386 include the bracket? For that price it should. I can't believe they would want $25.73 for four screws.

The car came with those license plate holders (front & back), although the front is different than the rear. I'm not sure if they came from Ford or the dealer. ...
Hey Kashawy,

Congrats on your new 'Stang! I'm looking into the license plate holder that came with it, and seeing if it's available for purchase. Would you be okay with PMing me your VIN?

Hey Pony,

I've sent this up the chain to be looked into. I'll shoot you a PM once I receive a reply.

The mirrors being different are not because of BLIS, they're because of different regulations outside of the U.S, you guys require bigger mirrors, silly I know.

Is VIN the same as Chassis number or Engine number? When I picked up the car I asked about the bracket and if it was installed by the dealer and they said it came that way from the factory  ..

I'll be looking to change them in the future, unfortunately they are bigger than the number plates.

Hey Pony and vt89gtvert,

My parts expert let me know that the part number for this is DR3Z-17B390-AA. :) I recommend speaking with your Ford Dealer for ordering and installation.

Thanks for letting me know, Kashawy. Your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a series of 17 alphanumeric characters that uniquely identifies your vehicle. This number is found on a metal tag affixed to the driver's side of the dashboard, closest to the windshield. The tag is visible from the outside of the vehicle.

Hey Nick,

I did a search for that part number and it comes up as the part for the 2013-2014 Mustangs. Are they using the same exact part number for the 2015s?

I found these below for the 2013-2014s under that part number.

http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-oem-license-plate-surround-2013-2014/p/LPS3/

http://www.oemfordpart.com/ford/mustang/dr3z17b390aa/2013-year/shelby-gt500-trim/5-8l-v8-gas-engine/body-cat/bumper-and-components-rear-scat

I would very much like to purchase one of these for my 2015.

Thanks!

You're welcome, Bogey928. :) My parts expert confirmed. You may also speak with your Ford Dealer about this when placing your order. I'll be here if you need anything; don't hesitate to reach out!

No offense, and I certainly don't want to pick nits about this, but if you go to www.fordparts.com and do a search for the part with the number provided, it does not come up. Our dealers will likely tell us the same thing.

I guess what we really want is a link that we can purchase this for our vehicles.

I will definitely verify with my dealer, but I'm expecting... "a what? That isn't available."

I have the same feeling that my dealer will look at me like I'm nuts when they can't find it in the system.

I'll be heading there tomorrow with all information from the posts here to see what they say.

I, just like you Pony, would rather just be able to click a link, order it, and have it be on its way to me.

Oh well, maybe I'll trade my truck in for a new one while I'm there.

Ford Parts online said only the hardware kit (shown separately from the license bracket) is available under the '15 system. Good news is that there are 8 pieces! So only $3 per screw! Gotta love it.
